My husband and I went his brother's engagement party at his fiancee's house.

Everyone there were absolutely wonderful. When I walked in I was stopped short by seeing hundred (I MEAN HUNDREDS) of different foods and treats lined up all around the room.

I'm usually the type to grab a plate and dig on in and keep shovelling, and shovelling until I'm about to burst.

After being prompted over and over to grab a plate, eat, eat, eat, eat (their culture is big on eating!!!!) I decided to grab a few things and just nibble.

I didn't pig out. I stayed with one plate and just nibbled over a few hours to make it seem like I ate more (to them, so they weren't offended).

Instead of drinking the punches and hi calorie drinks, I stuck with a can of gingerale

OKay I have to admit... I did have a beer as well LOL

It was some sort of Expresso beer... kinda nice, my brother in law was begging me to try one.
