Default Where did everyone see weight loss first?

I am seeing it in my hands. Maybe a little in my face...

I'd like some feedback on the places you saw weight loss first in this WOE.

I have read that where we gained it last is where we will see it first. So, if the last place you gained it was your face that will be the first place to see it go. Makes sense. So, that means we shouldn't expect our thighs to go first and more than likely it will be one of the last things.

For me, that means that my shoes are looser, my arms don't look as heavy and my waist is starting to have definition. I have lost 15 lbs. so far and I walk on the treadmill 5x a week, lift free weights 3x a week, do lower body work 3x a week (alternate days from the weights) and then increase my activity in general. I have not measured myself for inches. I am waiting for the "first 25" then I will post another photo and my stats.

Hope this helps.

I actually saw it first in my two worst places (so maybe this will give the weight loss newbies some hope!): my stomach and my face. My stomach was SO fat compared to the rest of me that once I lost weight, the only thing it could do was shrink! I was growing a double chin that pretty much completely vanished after 15-20 pounds of weight loss.

My breasts shrunk a tiny bit, too, almost right away, but they were getting uncomfortably large (they were larger C cups when I was thin, but they got to be regular D cups, which hurt my back), so I was actually happy about it. Plus, they have only shrunk minimally since their initial loss, which is awesome! So, well-endowed fat girls, you may have nothing to fear! Your boobs might still be here

My weight has always gone down in these areas chronologically;chest, face, butt&legs, upper belly, lower belly, then my back. The lovehandles on my sides are stubborn and always the last to go.

I think pregnancy changes your weight gain/loss patterns. At least it did for me. I have the most outrageous metabolic-syndrome looking gut right now-- the only thing that bails me out is that I've got a 36DDD post-breastfeeding rack! Do these things EVER go away? Sheesh!

, yea, supposedly MOST women only lose 1-2 cup sizes.

I noticed a lost first in my ankles, thighs and wrists. Odd, huh?

I wish I could lose more boobs! All this weight gone and I'm just barely in a DD!

The first place I noticed weight loss was in my hands and feet. By the time I was done 50lbs, most of shoes were too big and I had to move my rings to different fingers. I also noticed my face seemed thinner and my waist reappeared.

I noticed it in my face first - but that is possibly because I kept wearing my big clothes until they just hung on me. Hard to see what was going on under the big clothes!

It's very slight to me but it's a little bit from everywhere.

My face definitely has lost some weight. And my waist. What I really notice though is my butt, it's getting back to being smooth muscle instead of bumpy with cellulite. My butt has never been very small, but I love it when it's strong.

For me it was my legs and my stomach. Menopause had changed my body shape. Even at my highest weight, I had a fairly distinct waist. I went from a chubby hourglass to a potato shape. Once the pounds started coming off, I was pleased to see my old shape returning. I think the legs are due to the amount of walking and exercise I added this summer. They actually look GREAT - even with 35 more lbs to lose.
