Default "calories from fat" ?

Really not sure where this goes but.

On the back of boxes it says

Calories
Fat(g)
Calories from fat

Does that mean it has the fat AND calories from fat. or is it just saying xG of fat is the same as x calories.

Default

calories per serving
fat grams per serving
how many of the calories came from fat

This is useful if you set a limit, such as not wanting to get more than 30% of your calories from fat. (one example)

Btw, one gram of fat contains 9 calories. That might help put it into perspective
