Default My Marathon

Hi ladies - going to do a little shameless cross-posting and direct your attention to a post I made in the coolrunners thread on the exercise forum describing my marathon experience this weekend. Since I have friends in this forum too, I thought those of you who might be interested could stop by the thread...it's toward the bottom of page 5, I wasn't quite smart enough to figure out how to bring you directly to the post, so scroll down a bit (or read the whole thread - I know I enjoy it!)

Wow! You look AMAZING in that picture. My face is always red, hot, and sweaty after even my miniscule (in comparison) gym workouts. Not only do you look way skinny, but you don't look like you're exhausted. How is that possible after 26 miles of a very hilly course?

Thanks for sharing the story, and congrats on a great race! Glad you opted out of the Chicago marathon.

I'm SO glad you didn't run here in Chicago. I was thinking about those of you who were running and I wasn't sure which maraton it was...

Really sad that they couldn't take the time to adapt to the weather. While it was really warm it's not exactly unheard of to be this warm here in October the weather here gets so crazy.

Congrats!

I think that when you run a marathon, you get to cross post all you want.

I loved reading the marathon thread; it's so inspiring and you should just be incredibly proud of yourself.
