Well, it looks like we lost all of yesterdays posts. Bummer, I didn't get to read them all.
Same 'ole with me. I ate Chinese for lunch yesterday and it was good. Szechuan Chicken Noodle Soup. It is huge, but yummy (hubby shared part with me because I couldn't eat it all) No clue on points, but I had a small egg roll with it and counted 12 points for it all. Anyone know????
Then I went home still full and walked the treadmill. I ate a salad with lots of goodies on it. I also had coffee in the morning and I am not a coffee person, but drink it once in awhile, along with tea. Well, I had so much energy yesterday and was able to stay up an hour later than normal. Not sure if it was the coffee or what. But I liked it!!
Anyone have weekend plans?? Not me. I leave Tuesday for a business trip, so I will be preparing for that.

yippee - it's friday!
hi jen and all those about to post.
shame about thursday's posts. if anyone wrote something very interesting or important, write it again now!!
i'm off to see a friend from uni this weekend. i think it's going to be a bit of a drunken night out. but i'm going to only drink low point things (gin and slim (slimline tonic!), and wine i reckon. have you been watching pop idol lolly? i want will to win. he's the best. have you guys had any popstars/pop idol tv shows over there? i know they had popstars in australia. basically big auditions for people who want to be popstars. but the people who audition! some of them just cannot sing and it makes v entertaining tv bless them!
jen - yeah on the treadmill!! enjoy the business trip.
right. back to work.

Thank the Good Lord above it's Friday!!!!!
The only problem with holiday weeks are the week that follows!
My to-do list at work keeps growing!
I hope my WW efforts are not in vain, I put on my dockers this morning and it felt like they shrunk two sizes!!!! Pretty tight, but hmmm. I don't think it's water, not sure what it is, really.
I do know I'm getting ready for lunch, though. he he he
You know it's bad when during breakfast, you think about what's for lunch. It's a shame that most people eat to live and I live to eat. Oh well. We're going to a Meet-n-Eat tonight with the corvette club. That should be fun, but there will be beer involved. :s: Better watch myself, but I can't do too much damage, my dog has a beauty appointment at PetsMart at 10 am.
Hm, am I rambling or is it just me? I feel like it's much ado about nothing.
I really don't want to work.
Hello to all those of us about to post, it's a shame I wrote the most eloquent post yesterday evening for all to read....HAHAHA
I found a game on our computer called Blaster Ball and I fell in love! That game is really really cool!
Ok, now I must do some work, I wish I didn't leave my briget jones book at home, I've read it already, but I want to read it again. :)
What are everyone's weekend plans? Anyone else getting drunk with kirsty? Hey, kirsty, I'll drink a few with you tonight... Hey, I didn't know there was such an animal as slim tonic. Isn't it water to begin with???
Ok, Ill send this now so I can see if anyone else has posted in the meantime.
Bye!!!

i haven't a clue but you get regular tonic and slimline tonic (ie diet tonic). i go for the slimline myself cos it is zero points, whereas the regular stuff counts half a point a drink (we get to use half points in the uk!!). just like coke and diet coke. but yeah, i thought tonic was fizzy water so you wouldn't imagine you could get diet water! guess regular tonic has more sugar or something in it. anyone help?

Good morning, everyone! I don't know about you guys, but I am SOOOOO glad it's finally Friday. (Too bad I have to work tomorrow, but it's only for 3 hours).
First, I have to tell you guys about the really yummy dinner I made last night. Maybe you already have done this, but I usually can't get very creative with my meals, so I'm pretty excited about it. I took 1/2 cup of elbow macaroni, a whole bunch of frozen cauliflower and broccoli and boiled it until the macaroni was cooked. Then I drained it and added 1/4 cup of tuna, and 1/2 cup of Campbell's Healthy Request Broccoli Cheese soup and mixed it all up. It was SO good and only ended up being 7 points for a big bowl.
I actually have plans for the evening tonight. After work I'm going to my first hockey game with some co-workers. Then we're going back to this guy Kevin's house for some drinks and to spend some time relaxing in his neighbor's beautiful outdoor hot tub. (The only problem with that is there'll be quite a few people there to see me in my swimming suit. Yikes!) :o Yeah, my boyfriend isn't too fond of that idea, but he knows he can come along, if he wanted.
I've successfully made it through 5 days of staying within my points range, but I'm nervous about the weekend--it's when I tend to pig out all the time. Anyone have any suggestions to help with that? I'd really appreciate them.
OK, I better get a little work done before they fire me. See you guys later!
Asthis is my last weekend at home before I go back I have a feelign I will be imbibing on saturday night Well within points Range Ofcourse:angel: or out of points range ahem At the Mo I'm in paper land tho taking 2 min to eat my breakie and rest my brain 4 hours straight of Irish Lit can get to a person
Stacey Wherer did you find the game I have Southpark SuperMario 2 its EVILLLLLLLL and i stillcan't beat level 2-2 Have fun tonight and lol I love petsmart ;)
Kirsty I had a Slim gin and tonic over xmas there were very nice much lighter than regular in taste and everything-- oh we have popstars in the US but its not as big as over there i think
Funny thing My flatmate who is the music major (and sings like a dying duck mind you) Tried out for the Irish version I had to sit thru a month of her singing wind beneath my wings Murder crossed my mind briefly ;o)
Jen that soup sounds realllly good ;) Coffee wise I have been drinking it since I was 9 (which might explain why im only 5'3) but after I havent had it in a while and i start up again man I'm bouncin!

Hello all. Well, I am a mom. actually, I have been for 16 days now, but my computer broke the day we got home from the hospital and we just got it back.
His name is Alexander Queue O'Shaughnessy ( we call him Alex)and he is so cute. We had a few issues to work out at first, but they all seem to be working out now. Breastfeeding was not going well, so now I pump all the time. Oh well. Oh, and a c-section really hurts after!
I have to go now but I will try to get back on a post a picture.
Hello to all and I will try to get back soon. Oh, I am also going to WW this weekend for the first time in 9 months. I am so excited!

trish - fantastic to hear from you!! can't wait to see pictures. enjoy ww this weekend. welcome back to the treadmill!! say hello to alex from me!
kierie - ta for tonic info. what do you know about soda water? is that free or full of sugar too?
jess - enjoy the hot tub! don't worry about folk looking at you, i reckon that everyone, no matter what size or shape is paranoid about some aspect of their body. so no one will notice anyone else's flaws cos they'll be too busy worrying about their own!
hope everyone else has a fantastic weekend!
love kirsty
ps trish, i'm curious - why queue as a middle name? does it mean something different in the US? over here it means a line of people...

Jen: I will try to get to all teh e-mails today. You and Brenda have been writting like crazy!!! I am so excited to catch-up.
Kirsty: It is not a word used in the US, but it does mean a line of people (amoung many other definitions in the dictonary). My hubby wanted an initial for a middle name, but I wanted a name, so we ended up with both. I love it..most think it is strange. I guess it is ok to be strange with a middle name as most people just use their middle initial. And I love the way Alexander Q. O'Shuaghnessy looks on the paper.
Anyway, thus the Queue. I think most people in here in teh US so far think it is some french thing.

Hi everyone
WELCOME BACK TRISH!!
I wrote a huge long post yesterday only to have it lost. Someone also sent me a PM and it got lost before I could read it. Oh well
Boss is away today (as she was yesterday) - I'm only at this job until next wednesday - I hope something else pops up soon. BF and I go to his Grandmothers memorial service this weekend so it will be an emotional time. We were ready for her to go, but he's still very sad.
I've been staying OP - I even got one of those totally cool misto spray cans. Last night I had popcorn and used 1 teaspoon of butter and it flavoured the entire bowl!! What a great little kitchen gadget. Well I should get some work started - I'll check in later

Trish... Brenda and I think it is a Star Trek thing. Heee heee. We discussed it already and even verified it with your hubby via email!!! I also LOVE how the name looks written out. The Q is very unique!!!
And to everyone else. Brenda is doing good, but very very busy. She is not on-line at work because of internet police, so that is why she disappeared. She is no longer allowed web access. Booo hooo to the internet police!!!

I just got back from lunch and now I really need to get busy!
Bye for now!

Oh my gosh, I can't believe what I just did. I walked into a conference room that had tables full of leftover pizza. Instead of scarfing down the pepperoni piece that looked SO good, I took a salad. Well, I suppose that means I'm making progress. :D (Even though it was tough for a second or two).:^:

Just a quick hi ... I'm trying to get out of work early today because BF and I are driving to Chapel Hill tonight. I'm looking forward to a weekend away, although I'm going to miss my puppies! We're putting them in a kennel which I've used before. I never liked the idea of a kennel and always had friends look in on them when I was away, but then I met the folks who run this one kennel and they're wonderful with the dogs. They've becoming friends of mine (the guy is a cop, who I know from my job), and I trust my dogs with them completely. I actually think Toby and Stella have fun when they're there!
Foodwise, I've been doing well, although I didn't eat dinner until 10:30 last night because I was covering a murder. I had a grilled chicken salad, which fit OP. So I'm feeling pretty good! I haven't gone back to WW, but my home scale says I lost 3 lbs. Yay!
Have a great weekend everyone!

Just popping in real quick to say HI to everyone! And CONGRATULATIONS Trish!
I have been doing really well with staying OP this week (1st week REALLY back on). Next week I'm going to concentrate on getting back into gear with working-out. I'm also going to try and get up an extra 10 minutes early in the morning and do my 8 minute Tae-Bo work-out.
When I got on the scales today (and it is TOM), I have lost 4.5 since Tuesday! I'm SOOOOOOO excited! So -- that is motivation to keep on going :)
Oh, and I wanted to say congrat's Kim on the 3lbs! Way to go girl!
Sorry I can't post any more individually -- but after the holiday vacation, my work has PILED up high!!!!
Have a GREAT weekend everyone!
