It is so refreshing that we all can feel safe enough to share our real weights on this board.

The real world, however, is another story. :o I haven't changed the weight on my driver's license since I initially started gaining weight a few years ago. :o

According to the government, I weigh 150 lbs. :lol3:

What's your "official" weight? :^:

My DL weight has been the same for probably 10 years - 230. Even when I was 315. LOL. I've never been 230 in the course of that time, but it is my Christmas Challenge weight!

Mine says 215...I'm getting there! I have to get it renewed on my birthday is January, and I may just tell the truth.;)

My California one says I weigh 200, I changed it up from 190 when I had to renew and weighed 220.

Guess what I'm doing when I go home???

Mine says 200. Can't wait to tell the truth on my license! In fact, I don't think I've ever told the truth on it. At 16, I was nearing 200 pounds, but my license said 150.

Mine still had the weight I was when I got it when I was 16. I refuse to change it until it is to my goal weight. Mine says 180.... I wish I was 180. LOL. And then I thought that I was fat. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!

Trazey34

do they make you jump on a scale in the US??? or do they just take your word for it???

I'd love to say "199" at the weight i am now, and have them just look at me and go "seriously?" hahahahah

ok why am i laughing? LOL

Mine is 11 pounds heavier than what I weigh now. However, when I weighed 261, my driver's license weight was 180.

In my state, and I'd guess it's the same for all states, you tell them what you weigh. Or better, you tell them the lowest weight you think you can get away with. LOL

145! Which I actually was when I renewed the license... (hint: I'm twice that now)

HI,
I always lie for anything that asks my weight, would always say 220 or 230, so now I can say 220, and I look forward to be able to , one day, saying my weight ,when it is a healthy weight.

Funny thread! Mine says 175, as it has for years... I haven't seen that weight in at least 10 years LOL. I've set it as one of my milestones to actually be the weight shown on my license. At the DMV, they know you are lying, but nobody has ever said anything. It's a dumb thing to have on a license anyway, since it's one of the things that can most easily change. So I guess it doesn't matter if it's accurate!

I havent seen mine in so long, (I'm in the UK, so my usa license is null and void here) I cant remember if I said 150 or 165...

Oh, 165, 150 is my military ID XD

Mine still says 125 - my weight when I got it at the age of 16. They always ask if everything is the same and I have always just said yes.

I agree it is a stupid thing to have on a drivers license.

What a great thread for a "down" Monday! My D.L. says 138 -- even those years I was hovering around 200, it said 138. Now why do we find it so easy to lie about this? Do you think men lie about their weight on their DL like we do?

I have to renew it in July of '08, so maybe, just maybe, I can be down to an amount I will be proud of!

Mine says 185. I cant wait for it to be true!
I live in RI they just take your word for it. They dont make you hop on the scale (thank god!!)

Mine says 150 always has, always will. I always have people take a double look when they need to see my I.D. and I say "Yes, I know I have gained weight, but it really is me" they smile akwardly.

Mine says exactly what I weighed when I got it three years ago. Next year when I renew it, it will say exactly what I weigh. That thing is used for identification when you can't tell them who you are. I want it to be accurate in every way.

Mine says 185 ha ha... haven't seen 185 in 8 years. Not as bad as my cousin though.. she weighed 301 when she last got her license and she totally owned up to it, but when they printed her license it got transposed and her license said 103!!!

CT doesnt make us post our weights either! I didnt even know there were states that make you!!!

10-01-2007, 02:21 PM
Ok I had to go check to be sure. Mine says 160, which is what I weighed at 15 years of age, 26 years ago. I've never had anyone question it, I think most people just assume that most other people will lie about their weight. At least I assume it and I've lied about it all of these years..... Maybe other people are more honest. :)

No weight on a CT license. Hrm, but I'll be moving to MA next October... I wonder if they do? Oh well, I'll be happier to give my weight to someone next October than this October >_<

I am the only poerson I know who is truthful on my DL (other than, now, Shy Moment, above  ).

Mine says 280 because that is what I weighed when I had it renewed. I won't need to renew it any time soon, but when I lose 100 pounds, I'll go get a new one anyway! :)

No weight on my NC DL. This is a good thing... one less person I have to lie to about my weight.

My DL weight is 230 lbs. I haven't changed it in 18 years, even though I've been above that weight and below it. I'm looking forward to changing it next March, which is when it expires. Hopefully my weight will be even lower than it is now.
I did not know there were states that didn't require the weight on the DL. They don't weigh you here, just take your word for it.

hahah well i think the states who DONT put it on have proven their point since it seems as though most of the other states are getting false numbers anyways!!!

Mine says 175, though I was probably 230ish when I had it renewed. And yes, when they asked if everything was the same I just smiled and said YES!

Now for the really screwed up part.....had to stop at the DMV Friday for a copy of my driving record (clear!) and thought while I was there I should have my DL renewed (I was thinking it was due in Dec., but it's not till Dec. '08). The very FIRST thought that popped into my head was that I'd put my weight at 150, even though on Friday it still showed 152 on the scale. How crazy is that? 95 pounds later and my first thought was to put a weight on my liscense that was lower than what I actually weigh. Does this mean I'll never be secure enough to put that real number on the DL? UGH!

Marseille
10-01-2007, 11:35 PM
why DO they make you put your weight on? In SD you don't have to step on the scale either. They ask for hair color and eye color too.. when I last renewed my DL I had blue hair (Bright ROYAL BLUE). They put "blonde". I have gray eyes, and they don't have gray as an option so they just put "Green". I obviously weigh more than 185, but they didn't question it. My DL could basically be anyone! What a crock.

My DL says 150 and has since I got it at 16. Funny, that's actually below my goal weight.

The weight on my DL is 250. Obviously that was a lie.... Well, I renew in Nov. I am hoping to be down to 220.....and then I will TELL them 200. :D Hey, I am going to get there eventually!!! ;)

Cute thread idea!

It's not printed on ours in arkansas but they ask. I had to get mine renewed in July and the girl was like hair still blonde (not exactly), eyes still blue, you still 5'1" and weight still 185. yep sure is, never was more! Whatever, why do they ask if it's not on there! To clarify, when I told them 185 it was right about that but like somebody else said, the pic says it all!

I got my DL three years ago and at the time I was 160, but said 150.

9 More lbs and I'll be at my DL weight!!! I don't think I've been 150 lbs since I was in 9th grade.

Here in GA they have the pictures saved as a file (like a JPEG) so they no longer have to take all the pictures every time. You only get a new one if the change is "significant enough". Man, I hope the total loss of 73 lbs (when I get there) is considered significant enough! As for the current weight on my license... it says 185. I weighed 203 this morning.
