Good morning!

I'm down 3.

10-01-2007, 08:46 AM
Gained half a pound.

10-01-2007, 09:12 AM
Oh my gosh, Rhonda!!!! That's awesome! I just knew it was going to be good news when I saw that you had started the thread! You must feel great!

Dawn - Keep on keeping on! We all have those weeks!

I'm down 2 this week. I'm so hoping next week is my entry into the 170's and overweighthood...I'm sick of obesity! :D

10-01-2007, 09:40 AM
up 1.8 this week. Darn weekends!

My husband was talking to me last night about DD not having as many sweets during the week anymore and no cokes. I told him thats fine but he cant be eating all that in front of her. So hopefully I dont have to live with the stuff in the house anymore.

10-01-2007, 11:29 AM
Down 1.8 pounds this week. :D. I finally got out of the teens that it feels like I've been in forever, and busted the plateau I was in.

10-01-2007, 12:28 PM
I lost 2.5 lbs this week.:)

10-01-2007, 01:29 PM
Down 2 pounds. I don't deserve it, but I'll take it.

10-01-2007, 01:56 PM
Wow, good news for everyone! Rhonda, I got three this weigh-in too, and that's the first three towards my Christmas Present goal.

10-01-2007, 02:13 PM
Such great news! I really love reading about others' successes when I'm not doing as well as I would like, as it restores my faith that it can be done.

After a tumultuous scale week (I was 185 on Thursday), I am back where I was last Monday. And for some reason, I'm okay with it this morning. I think I'm finally accepting that this is a lifelong process, and a scale setback for one week will never doom me to a life of being overweight. It's just an opportunity to evaluate what works for me and what doesn't.

Tricia - I, too, have my eyes on the "overweight" marker. I followed you into Onederland, and I intend to follow you there as well!

10-01-2007, 02:57 PM
This week I'm down 6 pounds from last week!:cp:

I love this site!
I've joined a new challenge and think this is all really going to help me.

10-01-2007, 03:08 PM
LaurieDawn - You're the same height as me so we have the same overweight mark! So glad you're getting ready to cross that line, too! Isn't it exciting??? :D This journey is so much easier when there are other people to share it with. Skinny friends (while very supportive) just don't really know what this really involves!

10-01-2007, 03:32 PM
I'm down 1 pound. I'm BACK down to my ticker weight now, so I'm no longer living a lie!!! :)

10-01-2007, 07:43 PM
Up 1.6 this week, which all things considered, is a freaking miracle! I also read my charts wrong last week and had been down 2 last week, not 0.2. So I haven't ruined things as much as I thought I had.

10-01-2007, 07:58 PM
I had a fantastic week! :D I'm down 5.5 pounds. :carrot:

10-01-2007, 08:12 PM
I am down 3 lbs this week. Down to the 180's!!!!!

10-01-2007, 08:53 PM
I weighed in Friday before I left for my trip. It was for TBL weigh in. I was 264.4. Today I was 267.8. UGH!! I gained every lb I had lost back over the weekend. I went completely off plan. Im back on track now. It will probably take me all week or more to get back where I was. Im definately not gonna make my goal now.

10-01-2007, 10:39 PM
Congrats to all the losers! And a big "don't give up!" to everyone that gained a little bit this week.

I'm only down .5 but even that was undeserved as I made bad choices every time I turned around.

What day do you guys weigh in every week- Monday?
I would love to join you if that is OK..
I am at a start weight of 260.
When do I weigh in next?

10-01-2007, 11:05 PM
We have people posting every day of the week, I think. There are a ton on Monday...but I can't think of a single day that isn't represented. So, whatever day you prefer is your weigh in day! :D This thread is open all week long!

10-02-2007, 07:43 AM
Wow, some great losses this week!! I saw a 6 and a 5.5 and a 3 (go, Rhonda!) and all sorts of other good stuff!! If you gained or stayed the same, just hang in there and next week will be better!

I lost one pound this week (the same one I gained last week...) I'm just happy my ticker is accurate again! Well, it's not accurate exactly -- its math is off! I'm not sure why it says "105 lost, 3 to go." It should say "108 lost, 2 to go." But anyway -- TWO TO GO!! WOOOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! I'm not letting anything stop me this week!

10-02-2007, 08:21 AM
I am down 2lbs this week.

10-02-2007, 09:26 AM
I'm down three also!! Out of the sixties! WOW... MY FIRST TEN POUNDS!!!!! I could not possibly be happier. (Well, ask me that after 10 more 10 pounds....)

10-02-2007, 12:01 PM
I don't really want to weigh in, but I suppose I ought to.

I weighed in at 175.2 last Monday. By Friday, I had gone down to 174.2. Over the weekend, I did a little too much snacking and went back up to 175.8, so my official weigh-in is a gain of .6 pounds...Hoping I can knock that back off.

10-03-2007, 06:07 AM
:Good morning all!!
Congrats to so many loosers!!! Such great #'s out there!!
:cheer2: Those who didn't post losses this week, next week will be your week!!!

My scale was acting wacky so I put a new battery in it and I am down 3 lbs( checked twice), I feel bloaty, but will take the number. I am down 62lbs since I began, I have to keep writing it and looking at it, because I really can't believe it. I am on my way to 200 wow it is hard to believe.

10-03-2007, 10:06 AM
Down 1.5 lbs this week! Considering TOM, I'm very happy!!

10-03-2007, 12:01 PM

Fantastic job to all the losers. Maintainers hang in there I know I have had to. Gainers it will turn around. Been there.
Drum roll please after forever at a stand still I've gone into the 160's with a 3 lb. loss. Thank you all for your encouragement.

I usually don't read this thread much if I've had an off-week scalewise because it can discourage me, but when I saw you were the last poster, I just had to see. SO EXCITING that, after considerable work, you were able to conquer that 160s decade! Great job!

10-03-2007, 06:16 PM
Thank you.
I guess I also should change my avatar to 55lbs. lost.

10-03-2007, 06:29 PM
I too, don't read this thread so often when I don't post on it. It kind of makes me feel like I'm just being nosy, I know it's dopey. Whatever. I had to take a peek when I saw your name Sharon. And I am so glad that I popped in. Great job. Stupendous job. You really have epitomized the meaning of perserverance, and I'm so very proud of you. You have shown us all that persistience really pays off.

A big hearty Congratulations to you on getting that stubborn scale to move downward!!!

10-03-2007, 08:25 PM
Thanks Robin. I don't think there is a better place to celebrate victories as well as report bad days then 3fc. You guys are always supportive. Thank you all. I may not have a loss for 3 - 6 weeks in a row. But everyone is cheering me on no matter what.

10-04-2007, 08:42 PM
*Trumpet Sounds* Da da da!!!!! I'm down 2.8 this week. Which brings my overall total to 51.8 lbs!!!!! OMG OMG OMG ^^ YAY! I hit 50 lbs down!

On a related note that means I'm down another food point. It's a positve thing for me :D

10-05-2007, 11:35 AM
WOW! I'm encouraged by this thread (even though I haven't officially weighed in yet for the week). It is so good to see people who are having losses and even those who are struggling because it helps me to know I'm not rowing this little (or big in my case ;) ) canoe alone! :D

Congratulations to the losers and HANG IN THERE to the maintainers/gainers!! We can do this!!!

Also - it is SO GOOD to see all the Christmas Challenge tickers!!! :carrot: Go, ladies, go!!! :cheer:

10-06-2007, 07:17 PM
Hey all. Congrats to you who have lost and even to the maintainers/gainers.....you aren't losers, just stalled a little bit. :)

I am down 3lbs.

I think I am going to join the Christmas Challenge to get some motivation!

10-07-2007, 09:33 AM
9.5 lbs (new scale-- so 3 lbs for that so in reality, I lost 6.5! Yee Haw!
