I'll come out and say it- I HATE exercising. I find it to be boring, and the many times that I've gone at it, I've dropped it after a week. The longest I went was a month, and even that was on and off!

I am considering going back to the gym, however, and getting that done with. But besides that, I want to play some sports. But I don't know what to do! I've tried so many, but I just haven't liked any of them. I've played~

Soccer
Basketball
Softball
Tennis
Fencing
Volleyball
Lacrosse

And of those, the only one I actually liked a little bit was fencing. I'm considering signing back up to do that, as well as Tae Kwon Do and some form of dancing with my friend.

So, what other sports should I try? What sports do YOU enjoy, if any?

I love gaelic football but alas its only played here in Ireland.

Other than that I liked playing tag-rugby and netball....

i don't really like "sports" ...i find that organized sports get too competetive at times. I like things like dancing. Maybe if you have an interest in fencing..start taking it up..its aerobic. The other thing..if you like dancing..maybe find a gym that has dance/aerobic classes or even sign up for dance classes at a local studio. Dance is a great form of exercise

I'm a bookworm; I'm happiest when I'm sitting on the sofa reading a book. Since all sports are pretty much the opposite of that, I'm not very happy doing any of them. I have a personal trainer and he often asks me whether or not I like particular exercises. I don't even know what that means. If I liked the exercises, I wouldn't have to pay him to make me do them.

The only thing that comes close to a sport that I like doing is dancing and I never do it anymore. But when I was in high school, we went dancing every weekend; we'd dance for hours at at time, and we'd leave the club drenched in sweat. It was a ton of fun.

As I've gotten into better shape, I have come to appreciate running outdoors. I get up early on Sundays to do it, so it's usually just me, my iPod, and the sunshine, and the birds. It's sort of peaceful, but I'd still rather be reading a book. I also have come to appreciate swimming. In the early morning, when the sun is out, it's not too cold, and the water is nice and clear--it can be very zenlike. Swimming is also the only activity I do where I don't feel like a huge klutz.

I used to enjoy tennis but now I'm just not good enough at it; it's too much work chasing that stupid ball around. I rather just run intervals on the treadmill and be done with my exercise for the day.

I took Tae Kwon Do in college and I HATED it. It was awful. The instructor made us wear those white pajama type outfits and I felt like the Pillsbury Dough Boy trying to be violent. I don't want to do any sport where I can't pick out my own clothing.

BTW-Investing in a iPod has made a huge difference in my exercise routine. It's so much easier to get through my workout when I have music.
