Just ignore the fat calories. They don't tell you anything helpful.
Btw, be wary of the calories any machine tells you you're burning. They're usually way off. Unless you can enter your age, height, weight and gender, they're DEFINITELY not to be taken seriously, and even then there's a tendency for the machines to over-estimate the number of calories you burn, from fat or otherwise. (If I use the elliptical at my gym, even after I enter my weight it will tell me that I've burned 200 or 300 calories more than what my HRM reports. It's very dodgy.)
