General chatter - How Did You Choose Your User Name?

09-18-2007, 10:14 AM
I'm sure this has been done before but it's fun.

Mine is pretty simple but some are fascinatingly cryptic.

09-18-2007, 10:19 AM
Shelby was a cat I had when I was 18 and lived alone until she was over 10 years old and had to be put to sleep -- but she did get to meet my first son!! She moved across country with me twice. "897" is my wedding anniversary.

09-18-2007, 10:51 AM
My sister is "the smart one" and I've heard it said a lot in my family. Perhaps my feelings should be burt, but it's better then being referred to as "the ugly one" I suppose :)

I'm fairly intelligent too, it's just that no one ever bothered to notice.

09-18-2007, 11:20 AM
My initials.

09-18-2007, 11:21 AM
Bits and pieces of my first and last name together...but neither in their entirety. ;)

09-18-2007, 11:22 AM
I have this user name on a crafting forum, to indicate that I'm addicted to the craft. I figured it fit for food, too... unfortunately!

09-18-2007, 11:27 AM
Great thread!

Mine's from the Neil Young song.

09-18-2007, 11:49 AM
Uhm. My name. now i feel so not creative.. HAHA!! :D But my avatar on the other hand... I am shy. not confident. I know lots'o'us can relate to that one...:faint:

09-18-2007, 12:09 PM
I was playing Super Mario Kart on Nintendo right before I registered :o

09-18-2007, 12:10 PM
Oh, I love these threads!

I wanted a fun name that was positive, unique, and easy to remember. I've used it off and on in various forums for years.

09-18-2007, 12:20 PM
once i asked my hubby what it was he loved about it - and he said it was my general Liz-iness... it stuck. :)

09-18-2007, 12:21 PM
I like to be glamorous...i love fashion, makeup, etc...thats my story :)

09-18-2007, 12:28 PM
The year was 1996, I was trying to register a name for my first chat room and everything I came up with was already taken. So Out of frustration I Just typed in the acronym for I Want My Own Name, NOW! And iwmonn was born ;)

09-18-2007, 12:33 PM
The Cheat is a cartoon character (pic in my sig of the yellow guy) from, which I love.

When I started this, I wanted to remind myself of the fact that I was making a lifestyle change and not going on another diet. You can cheat on diets, but you can't cheat on yourself, so hence Not The Cheat.

09-18-2007, 12:39 PM
My hubby came up with it and it is kinda fun being an evilwoman, makes people wonder why am I so evil, doesn't it? I ain't actually evil at all. I like to wing my eyeliner out a bit on the ends and my hubby thinks I look a tad bit evil yet oh so sexy when I do this, so hence the name evilwomaniamshe. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.....

09-18-2007, 01:19 PM
Well, on the surface, obviously it reflects the aftermath of a difficult pregnancy, emergency C-section and hellish recovery period (which inlcuded a second surgery). It also envelopes the post-partum depression caused from being so ill for so long which is actually what caused the extra weight, as I look back at pictures and see what I looked like right after my daughter's birth and finally came to terms with the fact that the bigggest gain came AFTER she was born!

Plus, I wanted something "clever".:dizzy: However, had I realized that my name would affectionately be shortened to Mummy by all the lovely posters who respond to me, I may have given that a second thought!:D

And let it be said that I hope one day to proudly be able to change my name to :carrot:YummyTummy!

09-18-2007, 01:40 PM
"A.N. Other" is a British-ism, originally used in sports lineups for "player to be named later", and by extension used as Americans would use "John/Jane Q. Public" (I'm not English myself but I'm a big Anglophile since I went on a vacation in the UK and Ireland when I was 12).

09-18-2007, 01:41 PM
This is neat!

Mine's pretty self explanatory.... in retrospect, I wish I had chosen "2Fat4MyFatPants," but when I joined 3FC, it was right after we got home from our honeymoon on a Caribbean cruise, and I noticed that from all that eating, my jeans were really tight. I was NOT about to buy a size larger!

09-18-2007, 01:46 PM
GirlyGirl is the nickname my Mom used for me. Now, its one of the nicknames I use for my own daughter's. Plus, I really am a girly girl....I love flowers, animals, perfume, jewelry, makeup, clother, etc etc etc.......

09-18-2007, 02:14 PM
Combination of my maiden and married name. Plus it's easy to remember. With so many web sites and user names, I can't keep track of them all.

09-18-2007, 02:24 PM
My brand (as in branding cows): \NL

09-18-2007, 02:28 PM
When I first registered in 2006 I was just coming out of a rough divorce and was just learnig how to "love life" on my own with my two kidos in tow "x2". I put it all together and came up with lovinlifex2.

09-18-2007, 02:33 PM
I used to get really annoyed when people called in Valerie or messed up my name, which is Valdine. And that's how people used to really get to me.. making up stupid variations. And I never had any nicknmaes... I guess Valdine was enough of a nickname.

One girl in my freshman year of college wouldnt stop calling me valpal.... and I hated it. but I've moved on and grew up so it doesnt bother me anymore. and I'm 23.

09-18-2007, 02:38 PM
Darby was the name of my horse when I was a kid. I added the "1" because somebody had already taken darby.

09-18-2007, 02:43 PM
the name of a band and I just like the way it sounds

09-18-2007, 07:22 PM
Because I'm a wogger and I have the same username at runnersworld. :)

09-18-2007, 08:22 PM
I make my living as a pickpocket.

09-18-2007, 09:05 PM
Just a reminder of regardless of how I look or feel on a particular day at a particular time: I'm "like no other".

09-18-2007, 09:13 PM
I'm "mom" to Quentin, Julia, and Travis. One of these days I may have to get my own identity...scary.

09-18-2007, 09:29 PM
I had actually wanted ROSEBUD (a mysterious name from an old classic movie), but it was taken already, so I tried adding numbers to it, but it kept saying it was taken! So finally, out of sheer frustration, I just typed in "Justwant2Bhealthy", which is true; that is my main goal here, to get healthier by eating better and losing some weight.

So, I put ROSEBUD underneath as my registered name. I mentioned to someone who asked that had I known I would have to type it in every time I logged in, that I would have made it shorter; but now when I type in the first letters, the computer brings it up for me ... yeah!

09-18-2007, 10:08 PM
well mine is very easy...spent 8 yrs going to school at the univ of florida..home of the fighting gators..i'm a HUGEEEEEEE gator fan and for the last 6 years i've been stuck in enemy territory...the state of Georgia!

09-18-2007, 10:26 PM
I've been using this SN since 1999. I've always been a night-sky watcher, fascinated by astronomy. And the stars are always at their most beautiful on a cold winter night. :)

09-19-2007, 08:38 AM
I love this thread!

Ok, Nightengale Shane is kind of like my alter ego. I've always found the name Nightingale to be beautiful, so I decided to purposely misspell it and make it my own. The Shane bit comes from this character on The L Word named Shane who I've been told I bear a strong resemblence to (though I heard it much more when I was skinny and pre-mohawk). I've fronted a few bands and always used the name Nightengale Shane... plus, I've been told it suits me fairly well, so it's become my thing, I suppose. :)

09-19-2007, 09:31 AM
Nothing too mysterious about mine . . . I use it and my password all over the place.

Diana the Hun
09-19-2007, 10:15 AM
Mine's pretty simple - my name is Diana and I'm Hungarian! I was born in Australia, actually - I'm the first Australian in a long line of Hungarians. Also, "hun" is short for words like "hungry" (which I frequently am), and "hunny" (see qualifier for "hungry";)). I always have the hardest time thinking up a handle that sums me up!

09-19-2007, 10:19 AM
Jen is a nickname based on my given name (NOT Jennifer, BTW) and 415 is my birthday...

09-19-2007, 10:24 AM
My husband is a Field Service Technician and I'm his wife. Tech Wife. I used to use KAT65, my married initials and the year I was born, but it ends up not being long enough for some things you need usernames for, so I use Techwife for everything now. Keeps it simple and I NEED simple in my life. Nothings worse than going somewhere and, what was my username here again???? So, Techwife for everything.

09-19-2007, 08:40 PM
Not in the mood for creativity, after frying one motherboard from my first attempt at installing a modem in my computer so I could go online for the first time at home, I simply decided on my state's motto. It was either Almost Heaven, or the truth...Almost ****. I decided on the little white lie. LOL

09-20-2007, 09:02 AM
My wonderful and very loving boyfriend decided one day to give me the nickname Pita. It is an acronym for Pain In The A**. It stuck and Pita has become more my name then my given name. The 420 stands for April 20th. The day I met said wonderful and loving boyfriend. :)

09-20-2007, 01:26 PM
Since I love butterflies and I know right now I'm stuck in this cocoon (my fat body) and know soon I will emerge into a butterfly (the new slender and healthier me) and will kiss my past goodbye forever!!! Butterflykiss:D

09-20-2007, 04:11 PM

Oh. Aww. I thought you liked to smoke pot (420) and then when you got the munchies, you'd eat pitas (as opposed to Taco Bell) to help stay on plan ;)

09-20-2007, 04:15 PM
Oh. Aww. I thought you liked to smoke pot (420) and then when you got the munchies, you'd eat pitas (as opposed to Taco Bell) to help stay on plan ;)

I thought it was a marijuana reference, too! LOL

09-20-2007, 04:58 PM
Mine is pretty dull, but I do use it everywhere. "Kim" is my first name and "Star" is my last name translated to English. "060404" is my wedding date. Looking back on all these interesting names, I wish mine was different.

09-20-2007, 05:16 PM
Valentine is my Future last name and Bride.. well, because I'm going to be bride...

AlmostHeaven.. Aww... Don't dis my state, even though it is true.. well, sometimes. :^:

09-20-2007, 09:39 PM
Oooh, another West By God Virginian. Which part of this (ahem) great (yeah right) state do you hail from? LOL I'm in Huntington. One thing I was sure glad to see, when I moved back, we had a new governor, so all those gastly "Welcome to WV, Gaston Caperton Governor" signs had been removed. What a waste of taxpayer dollars. Sheesh!

09-20-2007, 11:26 PM
Oh. Aww. I thought you liked to smoke pot (420) and then when you got the munchies, you'd eat pitas (as opposed to Taco Bell) to help stay on plan ;)

Good grief!! You are all thinking I'm a pothead??? :smoking: I might have back in the day....but Ohhhh never mind!! This is terrible! :(

And if I was smoking pot, I sure as **** wouldn't eat pitas over Taco Bell!!!!

09-20-2007, 11:55 PM
Well, my name is Kati, but I wasn't given that name at birth. My mom gave me this terrible old southern name so I changed it. Sweet:D

09-21-2007, 12:15 AM
Good grief!! You are all thinking I'm a pothead??? :smoking: I might have back in the day....but Ohhhh never mind!! This is terrible! :(

And if I was smoking pot, I sure as **** wouldn't eat pitas over Taco Bell!!!!

Pita, don't feel bad! I assumed it was a birthday or something if not the aforementioned reference. It also shows you where my mind is at.

Pitas over Taco Bell!

09-21-2007, 02:11 PM
ehh Huntington? lol.. no comment. I'm from close to Morgantown. I'd rather have the old signs back instead of.. open for business.. too many smart comments I could make on that one.

09-21-2007, 02:55 PM
Mine is the same as my blog title, because I joined 3FC after starting my blog. :D

It's from a great Martha Graham quote (part of which is in my sig!) which is inspiring a lot of change in my life right now!

09-21-2007, 05:35 PM
I am on a diet :broc:and a gurl it is my MYSPACE name.

09-21-2007, 07:05 PM
Hey don't knock Huntington. It's better out here. If I get too sick of this state, I have two neighbors to choose from. LOL!

We look like we're open for business though. What with all the strip bars, "gentlemen's" (yeah right) clubs, and now with the gambling moving in. I guess it just depends on what kind of business you're into. ;)

09-21-2007, 07:38 PM
My wonderful and very loving boyfriend decided one day to give me the nickname Pita. It is an acronym for Pain In The A**. It stuck and Pita has become more my name then my given name. The 420 stands for April 20th. The day I met said wonderful and loving boyfriend. :)

We've called my daughter "Pita girl" since she was born. I always wondered if that is what yours meant too.

09-21-2007, 09:20 PM
We've called my daughter "Pita girl" since she was born. I always wondered if that is what yours meant too.

That is so sweet! :)

09-21-2007, 09:40 PM
Dietgurl  where in Maine are you from? I'm in northern Maine and my DH works for a company out of Atlanta. Oh yeah I picked this user name because I'm determined to lose something before Jan be it my mind or this excess weight,

09-22-2007, 04:12 PM
Losinitin07, how northern Maine? We used to live in NH. Hubby did tech work through ME, NH and VT. We really loved (NOT!) those jobs in Presque Isle. LOL He had a couple jobs up there, but luckily most of the work there was in Portland or Agusta.

The farthest north I was though was Bangor. We're big King fans. Had to go visit his home town. ;)

09-22-2007, 06:40 PM
Well, when I joined 3FC way back when, "Ruth" was already taken. I decided to just add the three Xs and it took. Of course, some people think it's because I'm X-rated!

09-23-2007, 07:51 AM
Good grief!! You are all thinking I'm a pothead??? :smoking: I might have back in the day....but Ohhhh never mind!! This is terrible! :(

Sorry sweetie, I thought that too. But I live in the Emerald Triangle so . . .

P.S. I love your butterfly!

09-23-2007, 08:52 AM
I recently started liking my real name, Casandra Jo. My dad named me, I dont know where he came up with the idea for it, but I like that my name is pretty dern original. I used to go by several usernames on forums and the internet in general.

My very first username was Sailoraquafina, I came up with this name from an old Anime cartoon, Sailor Moon. A friend of mine came up with the "Sailor Pepsi Gang" a parody/fanfiction of Sailor Moon, and I came up with Sailoraquafina, because Aquafina was a relatively new drink brand at the time and I LOVED IT!

I also go by Seraphina, a play on Seraphim, the highest choir of angels, this was just a cutesy name that I ended up writing a whole story about and it got published!

More recently, I've been going by "Cassassin" Because of my sassy ninja skills ^_^

09-23-2007, 09:06 AM
Georgie is my real first name and we all know the nursery rhyme! :)

09-23-2007, 10:00 AM
I way I came up with my user name was really simple. I love the colour purple and I have a mild fasination for mythology creatures hence orc. So I joined the two up and voila purpleorc was born.

09-23-2007, 08:55 PM
Well, as for my screen name Nicoya is my nationality (Nicaraguense from Nicaragua in Central America) and an ex of mine used to call me Angelica (from rugrats) because I used to LOOOOVE eating cookies (Which cookie was another one of my nick names lol) So, I put Nicoya and Angel (since I couldnt fit Angelica) and taaadaaa! Nicoyaangel was born. On aol Im nicoyaangl (without the E) because someone already took my name .. but everywhere else since 2000 I have been Nicoyaangel :dizzy:

09-23-2007, 09:30 PM

Stepping Out
09-24-2007, 12:43 AM
I chose my original name..'Homebound'...because I'm physically challenged. I'm facing reconstructive surgery on my right foot/ankle, and I'm unable to drive or walk very far. I recently changed my name to 'Stepping Out' because I want to reflect the hope that I have of regaining my mobility. A more positive name & a more positive outlook! :)

09-24-2007, 04:27 PM
I chose my name because I'm an American living in the UK and for some reason they don't get koolaid over here. (Truly, they are not really living.) So therefore, koolaid will always be elusive. (elusivekoolaid)

09-24-2007, 06:29 PM
I came up with 1fatchica02 because I thought the website was cute and I am only 1fatchica and I always put 02 on the end of everything if the name has already been choosen and its the year I graduated high school.

09-24-2007, 07:10 PM
My old jazz instructor used to call me Miles (not b/c of my awesome trumpet playing skills, more like my bad attitude that apparently the great Miles Davis had). So I've used it for an internet moniker(sp?) ever since. When it's taken I go with blues4miles since it could be either sadness for a great distance, or playin the blues for Miles. Not that I'm sad too often, but I liked the double meaning.

Mine's pretty simple, but I just wanted to be able to use my real name, otherwise these boards don't seem as real to me. This way, I feel like I'm actually getting to know all you good people!

I've used this one for a long time. Landon is my husband, so, yeah. I either use this one or just my name which is Dena.

11-24-2008, 07:06 PM
D because my first name is Danielle, and then my middle name is Rose.

11-24-2008, 07:11 PM
I have a hyphenated last name -- a really, really long hyphenated last name. Schumeany is a combination of part of each of my last names, and it became my nickname at law school.

My first name is actually Dana.

11-24-2008, 11:24 PM
Mine is a variation of my husband's middle name. I've been using it for ages...

11-24-2008, 11:42 PM
Well, I had to pick something that wasn't my real name. And for some reason I get called Julie a lot.

11-25-2008, 12:06 AM
Mine is Inuttitut (the Inuit language) word for "Snowy Owl". I am Inuit and using an Inuit word is my way of paying homage to my heritage.

11-25-2008, 01:09 AM
Packers was a reference to my fiance and Bears is my team and I'm a fan so, pretty much a fun reference to my future in-laws nickname for me. "The Packers Fan's Bear Fan."

11-25-2008, 08:32 AM

11-25-2008, 11:37 AM
I have a huge sweet tooth but can also talk myself into and out of anything :D

SBD Sass
11-25-2008, 11:39 AM
I go by Sass, but it was taken here already so I put SBD in front of it and it stands for South Beach Diet in which I love so that's how I got my handle. :)

11-25-2008, 02:24 PM
Mine was originally pretty negative sounding when I briefly joined and disappeared a few years ago - fatbaby. I didn't think of myself as a fat baby too much, it referred to my then chunkaliscious toddler (don't you love baby bellies and folds?). I had it changed to FB, now I always think fat b*tch when I see it

11-25-2008, 02:34 PM
When I was a kid I had a horse named Darby. I added the 1 because somebody else was already using Darby. Oh, how I loved that horse!

11-25-2008, 02:39 PM
Mine was after a nickname I got from a teacher a long time ago.

I hated it.

So why not?

11-25-2008, 02:50 PM
Slashnl is our brand (you know, for branding cows). It really looks like this: \NL

11-25-2008, 03:36 PM
This is what my husband calls me sometimes. I think it's cute. We've only been married just over a year now.

11-25-2008, 04:16 PM
My original nym here was really negative, so I changed it to something more in keeping with a positive outlook. Fish the Dish was an old nickname, with the Fish bit being a play on my maiden name. I just tweaked it to DishyFishy. :)

Ali the <*)))>((

11-25-2008, 04:52 PM
Well, i'm Wantingtolose all this weight, thus the name. Not very unique or original. I have a few different names i typically use on boards, but i felt this one required a more fitting name for losing weight.

11-26-2008, 08:35 AM

I love owls, I love monkeys, and Owlmonkeys are cool. Also something most people don't choose as a username. It was actually my second choice-my first one was already taken (by me but I couldn't remember what email & password I used!)

I go to UF! Go Gators :D

I picked mine because of the movie Up. I love the idea of just floating away in a house carried by balloons to a place you always dreamed of. It works out well on this forum because addressing me by Paradise seems easy enough.

04-08-2011, 04:47 PM
I'm called Jess and I'm a music student :D

04-08-2011, 05:24 PM
I'm not creative at's a melding of my first and middle name XD

Oh. Aww. I thought you liked to smoke pot (420) and then when you got the munchies, you'd eat pitas (as opposed to Taco Bell) to help stay on plan ;)

OK. I guess I'm stupid. How is this a reference to pot?

I tried to use mare but some mangy pole cat had taken it. Funny how those names are gone but yet nobody ever shows up using it.

I'm a member on another chat board so I put cb for chat board before my name. I'd invited some of the people there to join me but they didn't. At least I don't think they have.

04-08-2011, 07:30 PM
I chose my username because I wanted to tell my body to Stop putting on Fat (I've gained 30 lbs in the last three years.) And I can't keep gaining at this rate.

But now (after a few hours) I hate my username. I should have chosen something that I would actually like to keep looking at. Everyone else's usernames are much better. I am notoriously bad at choosing usernames, though.

I suppose a nice thing about it is it rhymes with "stop that." Which should be my mantra when I am grabbing for that extra glass of wine or a spoonful of my son's mac+cheese.

I chose my username because people would tell me I look like a Porcelain Doll because of my curly hair and such xD

The only thing this doll needs to fix is the weight xD

I took mine from Tolkien. Nienna

dwells alone. She is acquainted with grief, and mourns for every wound that Arda has suffered in the marring of Melkor. So great was her sorrow, as the Music unfolded, that her song turned to lamentation long before its end, and the sound of mourning was woven into the themes of the World before it began. But she does not weep for herself; and those who hearken to her learn pity, and endurance in hope. Her halls are west of West, upon the borders of the world; and she comes seldom to the city of Valimar where all is glad. She goes rather to the halls of Mandos, which are near to her own; and all those who wait in Mandos cry to her, for she brings strength to the spirit and turns sorrow to wisdom. The windows of her house look outward from the walls of the world. (The Silmarillion, Chapter 2, "Valaquenta")

I've always been drawn to this description of Nienna's compassion, empathy, and strength.

I like threads like these! Someone bumped a similar thread back up from the past on a subforum awhile back, but it was such a specific section of the site that I don't think many people see it. Glad to see this bumped in the general section...I'm always interested in people's inspirations.

I'll just quote mine from the other place, so I can join in:
Mine may sound a little trite, but it is based around Shakespeare's Ophelia drowning in her helpless madness, and a phoenix who is born anew from it's self-destruction. I am not what I have let myself become, but who I am now allowing myself to be...healthy, aware and proactive. I have chosen to be "reborn", so to speak. Also, I love the name Ophelia so much that it is also my cat's name, so it has an affectionate connotation to me there, as well. And, Ophelia Phoenix is also a pretty name in and of itself to me, I guess. So, I suppose that is technically three reasons, but the first is the actual origin of inspiration.

Mine is one of my favorite songs by My Chemical Romance :) Bulletproof Heart~

Mine is quite dull and uncreative, and (though I always think it must seem this way) not at all related to the name of this site! It's just my street name and my age (because chickadee alone was already taken). I'm so boring!

Edit: the fact that the C is lower case DOES have meaning, but that bit I prefer to keep to myself. :)

My username is a fusion of me and my husband's names and then I reversed the letters.

It's the title of one of my favorite Belle & Sebastian songs and more about losing my mind vs lbs but I think a lot of people assume it's about the latter.

Mine is a variation of the spelling of Theda Bara, silent movie actress. No real reason really :p

Some screen names are pretty obvious and some are not so much.

What does yours mean and/or how did you come up with it?

My DixC Chix is a twist on my last name which is also a nickname with the capital "C" representing the 100# I need to lose.

Mine is obvious: I like ferrets and I'm fat. :D

When my little 1 was born, I used to say she was my beautiful little munchkin. One day I went to translate munchkin in Spanish for a relative and didn't know how, so just as everyone who tries to say things in Spanish when they don't know, I added an O at the end. Hence, that's how MUNCHKO was born. And since I love my little one so much and I'm always thinking about her, I've made it my screen name on several sites. Plus I don't have to add numbers cuz so far not a lot of people have it.

Munchko ;-)

For my screenname:
ILR is Industrial and Labor Relations, the school at Cornell where I got my undergraduate degree, and the same school I'll be going back to in the fall
Pink because I love me some pink!
Girl because I'm female, lol

Not an insanely creative name, but I like how the ILR makes it so unique so I never get forced to add numbers because "this screenname is already in use", etc

I use different variations of this name, but it's a reference to the candy that was big in the 80's (that's still around today) and my birth year. :p

04-27-2011, 03:38 PM
Chubbykins is a pretty obvious one I suppose.
Chubby because I am... and kins because chubby-chick is a mouthful :p

Mine is for my two reddish haired sons. They are really more like copperpennyboys, but that's not as fun to say as berryblondeboys

When we first got internet access, my husband and I wanted to think of something we both could use, as this was before email accounts were handed out willy nilly. We weren't married yet, so we didn't have a name in common. We were living across the street from the zoo in DC and somehow hit on zoodoo. I used it for years and eventually added my sons birthday when zoodoo was no longer universally available.

Mine means "Little boat" in Basque. I lived in the Basque region in Spain for awhile in 2007. Everyone knows you can't be too fat in a little boat...

One of my favorite authors (Karen Moning) has a series out called "Faefever" and in it there's a girl named MacKayla Lain who is a walking rainbow. I identify a lot with MacKayla through the series, even though it's fantastical and about fairies and whatnot. Her nickname, given to her by the man she's unsure whether or not to trust, is Rainbow girl.

Since I tend to light bright, girly things (not always, but sometimes) I figured it was a good username.

I have others I use for other sites and I may/may not change as my mood changes, but Rainbowgirl fits for now. :)

Mines not interesting at all!!! Just my first name and first letter of my last name. Very original.

My user name was actually chosen for me by my Mother when I was Born.
I don't see the need for using anything else.

I must confess I used to use a screen name called Hawk when I play online games or other games. I wanted to be as free as a Hawk. That was a while back.

All yours sound much more interesting than mine.
