I'm addicted to the Gym!!!
I work out 6 days a week and I have to FORCE myself not to head to the gym on the 7th day to give my body a break. However, I serioulsy want to go tomorrow to swim or do something. I know my body needs a break, but whatever shall I do with this newfound energy????

if you feel you must do something, take a mild walk or swim...nothing strenuous

I say, if you enjoy the gym go for it! Your body will tell you when it's too much. =) Keep doing great!

be careful!!! I know you enjoy it now - but this is how burnout can happen.
Take GG's advice - do something light and leisurly - you do need to let your body recover.
congrats of getting to that point of loving the gym - it is a great feeling!

Yoga classes can be a great deviation from a regular workout schedule (ty a restorative or gentle class).
Aqua aerobics, water walking or just relaxing in the pool and swimming a bit can be so fun!

Congrats on being in LOVE with the gym. Its about 1am right now and I just got back myself from a 70min workout. I love it too. However, I've had the burnout so watch out, its so very easy to deviate from the gym. (aka easy to get lazy!)

It is better than loving something bad for you.
I love the gym too. I get there about 5 days a week, but I would go 7 if I didn't have the life I do.
I would recommend doing something outside once in a while. It is helps the soul/mind as well, which I think it is hard to get at the gym.

Hopefully I won't become burned out. I've always loved working out. I've grown up seeing my parents do it, it's just always been the food thing for me. However, now that's in order, and I LIVE in the gym, so everything is working out for me.
Thanks for the replies and suggestions and much luck to you all on your weightloss journies.

CAKES-Hahahaha...NO! I'm a college student. The mere thought of marriage at my age freaks me out, but I know what you're getting at, LOL.
