SHAD CANNOT GET HERE DUE TO THE OFFICE COMPUTER SAYING THIS SITE IS PORNOGRAPHIC  SO HERE IS HER POST:
It seems that the porn site Fat Chicks must be active again. I haven't had problems like this for a while. But we are now lumped together again as far as the Woodside netnanny program is concerned. So for the time being I can't find out what the chicks are up to.
I did get to read Ruthxxx's post through my e-mail notification from 3fatchicks and I think it is a cool idea for Lucy to give her name to a Foundation for Vets for Pets. There are so many suffering animals out there and whose owners may love them but can't afford vets bills. Aids sufferers not withstanding. The Blue Lead Brigade!!!! (Lucy had a blue lead as opposed to Hersheys red one!)

Mel, wish I had a $1m that I could just whisk you and Jen away to some clean air and less despair. But alas, the oldest son borrowed the savings yesterday for a deposit in case his bid for a house was accepted. It wasn't but that's another story. I guess the money will come back later this week.

It's cool, grey and overcast here in Perth. I'm told I won't be able to stand the heat when it does arrive. This I wait to see. Still being used as a political football, however I've just punted back a reply which will not please the natives, but I'm not about to get pushed around anymore. I've been there, done that and there is nothing more stubborn than a Taurean Bull (born in the Chinese year of the Ox) who has a mindset and doesn't want to deviate. That's the way I will survive this project. I really feel more relaxed today.

On the question of being pushed and pulled every which way - can someone tell me why when I suggest it might be time to think of a new car, I have people (mostly male)coming out of the woodwork and telling me what I should get and why I give up the thought of the brand and type I was thinking of because it could not possibly be good for me. Everyone has an agenda it seems.

Okay - thats it. I'm off to harass the masses and get something done today - they are making more progress on the building over the road than I am on this project!!! have a fun day everyone.

Oh man - I was wondering if she made a typo and went to FatChicks by accident. :o Actually I've gotten chastisted by the security at work innocently reading a news article on Yahoo where it didn't like one of the words in the article's title.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop Mel.

'morning chicks,

Getting cooler and darker in the morning which brings out the mattress monster hugging me in it's grip

Why do people offer so many ideas on cars she asks? :chin: guess we all have our favorites. We've been Toyota fans since 1980. Never had a problem with any of our Toyotas yet we did have lots of service issues with our Chevy and Ford. Will never, EVER buy Ford again. Don't know about across the pond, but here it comes down to the service you get. None of the cars we had were built badly - except perhaps for the Pontiac Grand Prix that DH wanted which was in the shop 36 times in 18 months. The deciding factor comes in on servicing the car - can they fix the things that need doing and in a timely and cost effective manner? Sad to say, our experiences with American made cars it's a big honking    However, if you have been happy with a certain brand, why not stick with it? Actually I'm surprised to hear you considering a car again. Didn't you get one just a few years back? Would think it would almost be smacking brand new since you're hardly home to drive it any more?

Nothing much going on in my neck of the woods today. Have to train my replacement on my old job this morning on some troubleshooting that I too care of yesterday. Then it's back to getting those reports out because after all, I AM going on vacation next week and I need some time to plan out of few things for that too.

Sieze the day ladies...

Geez a girl can't get here in a day or so and has a short novel to read to catch up with everyone! Ruth the pics were so great....love the deer shots. We love to see them and have them in our environment but they can be so hungry consuming all of our beautiful plants..... The fund for Lucy, what a great gesture from your friend. Do amazing how animals touch our lives, now Lucy will continue to make a difference for so many owners and their pets.

Does the fall get more splendid than the full moon the rising morning star and the sun coming up at the same time......... WOW, I wish you all could be sitting here with me this morning having coffee and seeing this amazing site out all of my windows...... Be reminded that the Power & Love which offers us this amazing place to tread...is there for each of us when our needs seem too great.... Breathe!!

My thoughts are with all of you today as I read each of your posts and the great thing about his porno site LOL is that we have a great bunch of ladies here to help comfort and understand us ....right where we are today.

Wish some of our friends from across the Atlantic would check in with us and report on their journey. We miss you!

One speech done last night and it went tooooo long but have some good ideas to shorten it up the next time I give my report. I had a great time in Minnapolis....fun city. I was just too busy to see much of it.

Hope your day if filled with a good laugh along the way and your spirits are lifted by a hug or good friend telling your how terrific you are!!!!!
Peace,

Aw! Everybody needs a hug today! Hershey and I will be glad to do it.

Not much going on here except it's raining horribly hard. We have a river running down the road towards the creek, known as the "crick" in these parts. I have to go out to pick up prescription renewals and pop a cheque into the bank in the next town but that'll be "it" until this evening when I have a Fair Board meeting.

"Gentle" yoga class was a misnomer! I was afraid I'd be unable to move this morning but it's not too bad. I managed to sleep until 7 which probably helped.

Try to gram yourself a bit of peace today.

You bring up a funny argument. I was at my friends house one day in Southern Ohio. The family was arguing is it a " crick " or a " creek " . They are going back and forth. I am the only one there from ohio proper, usually known as " Northern Ohio " lol. They said well, is it crick or creek. I said a crick is something you get in your neck, a creak is something a door does. It is a stream. Jeez. They of course laughed at me. Then I asked, how do you spell creek lol they spell it creak. Like I said it is a stream.

I stay away for a complete 24 hours and there's a lot to read here.

STange things today. I keep hearing a phone ring.

Happy--I'm convinced that Toyota's are the best. The Chevrolet comes in second.

Mel--Glad Jen's feeling better. Tell Shad tht if she goes back to Brisbane to be careful. I heard on the local radio station that a guy is not only stealing purses he's stealing underwear as well.

Holly--Hope the ear feels better today. I've been there done that. It sure is no picnic.

Reenie--Feel better soon.

Have been in the mood to clean today. It sure did need it. I still need to finish the kitchen.

Have a good day.

POSTING AGAIN FOR OUR SHADDIE WHO CAN'T GET HERE JUST YET:

"Yesterday has to have been the day from ****,
Meeting first up in the morning - I thought to discuss how the new PMFE (Plant Maintenance Front End) in the new system will display and work, but no, it is for the business to decide what order they want the columns in. Great - that's 20 QRG's which will have to be redone. Won't take long will it? The two that have to be completely redone will take around 4 or 5 hours. But it's the ripples that take the time. You've changed things so that means all process flows will need to change, all screen dumps will need to change, any powerpoint presentation that shows some of the work flow process will need to change. Any screendumps in the powerpoint that display that screen will have to change. When will you get the changes into the system so we can start? Oh probably not till next week. Aaaaaarrrrggggghhhhhhh. So then I came back and broke the news to my manager. I managed to start with 'Have you taken your valium today and permission to go insane Ma'am?
Then my computer decided to spit the dummy and it has had to be rebuilt. You guys are still on the porn list so here I am, taking advantage of Mel's good nature again. I did ask the (No) Help desk this morning what they had done to Net Nanny and they didn't know - nothing! But then again, the left hand does not tell the right hand what gives around here, otherwise the left hand might know more than the right hand does.

Happy - I try to buy a new car every 2 or 3 years. This one is coming up 4 at Christmas. Believe it or not. There is so little resale value for a used car here, that unless you sell them young, you are going to have to find a heap of money to buy the next one. I'm not going with GM this time because I didn't get all the bits that I thought I was going to get for my money last time. Strangely, you can get a Honda or Mazda with all the gizmos as standard for around the same price as a Holden lacking the gizmos. And no it is not brand new anymore - the son just rang to say that someone sideswiped it in the supermarket car park. Goodo.

Mel - please give Antoinette my regards and tell her I am thinking of her.

Love and hugs to all of you. I'd better go and get up my team for something or other. It's going to be one of those days.

I'll use an internet cafe over the weekend to catch up with you all. Don't yet know if I am coming in to work or not due to lack of co-operation and not being able to do much work at the moment.

I am feeling much better until I go to bed and then everything clogs up lol. Other than that doing better everyday. Thanks for all the concern.

I happen to love my caddie. Haven't really driven anything else in years. Yes when they break, just had to spend about 500 for a new air mix door motor so I have heat this winter, it does cost a bunch to fix but since they don't break down much doesn't really cost much in upkeep. A friend just had the same thing happen on her not a caddie lol last year and it cost her just as much to have it fixed. The last one i had, all i did to the thing in 11 years except for breaks and oil changes was a new set of fuel injectors. Can't beat that with a stick :)

Sorry Shad still can't get in.

Back from vacation.
Took 3 days to pull out of "re-entry Depression." It is wonderful to stop worrying about budgets, food plans, laundry, dishes, etc. etc. I am a lazy one, for sure.

In the midst of said Depression I was considering lap-band surgery (or some sort of major amputation.... whatever it wold take)... but DD persuaded me that there were too many complications etc etc and so I've signed up for WW.

I have two lesbian friends who both lost more than 50# with WW. I'd like to lose 150 pounds... but don't really want to switch teams. :D Does that mean I'm not committed enough?

I've been painting today... and show when there's anything interesting! HA!
It is pretty hard to paint AND eat.

Best to all.

HA HA about changing teams. I hope you do well using WW. I have heard a lot of people that have done well on that program. Anytime one considers surgery it is important to look at the risks involved. Good idea what you and your DD did just that.

We are here to give support so please let us know how you are doing.

Good morning chicks,

Painter, I didn't realize that WW works better if you're a lesbian - no wonder I'm not quite getting the results I wanted :lol3: Good to have you back with us again.

Thanks for the recipe link Mel. Some of those things look quite good. And quick to fix too - always a plus.

Poor Shad - I know exactly what she is talking about - I would be banging my head in frustration. Of course why hurt yourself over someone else's stupidity? I feel for you sister... I guess the security teams must have had a conference because yesterday I noticed that many of the advertisements on websites were blocked. Not that I regret seeing ads I wouldn't pay attention to anyway, just means that they are tightening up security on what you can see on the Internet at work.

I stood up from the couch last night and got a blaze of light in one eye. It started me - like a sudden, unexpected bolt of lightning. Except it wasn't outside - it was in my eye. I now have a rather large, annoying floater in my right eye and I see flashes of white light in an arc in the eye. Guess I'll be trotting to the eye doctor this weekend. I looked it up on the internet and while it said sometimes this happens because of age, if it happens suddenly get it checked out because it could be a torn retina. Great just what I (don't) need.

If I had the time this morning I would set us up on a new thread just to be done with September. Was it Spain, or the singing or just the phase of the moon that made this such a bad month for us?

Tomorrow marks 35 years ago that I met DH. Can't believe disco was that long ago

Happy Friday ladies.

Local Fair tonight with the kids. Hoping for some pep in my step. Ears are about the same. Work was insanely busy. I made enough tips to pay the sitter. :D

The month gets worse. Crikey, roll on October.

Holly - sorry to hear about the ears. I hope the antibiotics work for you. It's no fun being partly deaf, especially when you work with people whom you need to talk to and interact.

Happy - get that eye seen to NOW!

Mel - I am going to ring you next week. It won't be for long but I need to discuss something apart from our pornographic instincts. I'll let you know closer to the day.

Ruth- enjoy that friend. My friend in AZ has been my friend since i was 16 and I have another friend who started school with me aged 5. I love them to death. Peach crisp - ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh  me too, me too. I'd even work up an appetite for that.

Rennie - hope you feel better soon. I usually get a cold about every April. It's near enough the only thing that ever goes wrong with me. Touch wood.

Madcat - glad you dropped in. I have found a place for you to stay when you visit Perth  It's called the Mad Cat Backpackers. :lol3:

Ceejay - thanks for the heads up on Toyota. I've sorta looked at them, but the smaller cars - which are basically what I need - always look chunky and squat. I'm a real devil for sleek lines and the long, lean, low look. I know they are really good. Everyone seems to love their Toyotas.

Painter - good to see you with us. Please don't turn us all Lesbian - we would have to move over to the Alternachicks thread - can you imagine what net nanny would do with that. :o

Still can't get in from work. Will have to find a work around somewhere. Talk to the phone company again etc. etc. etc. Work continues to grind along. I must have whinged enough since they have changed the screens for me. I am going in really early tomorrow to work in peace for a few hours. Monday is a public holiday, but I'll be there - can't keep me away! Someone asked what the big attraction was - I said Brisbane. Anyway that's the story for the moment. This computer is making some very funny noises - I have my doubts about it lasting the day - and the keyboard is crap as well. Not to worry, it's not a huge problem - I'll not be back here for some time. I think I am the only one here who speaks English as a first language anyway.

Okay - time to go looking for some new shoes. See ya!

So I make this vow to post here more often because you are all so much fun and so supportive... but Geez, my computer must be clogged. SLOW SLOW.
but I persisted. (Part of this weight loss stuff is about persistence, right?)

Shy -- I missed your entrance, but glad to get to know you. Way to go on your weight loss... hope that the MD can give you something to know out the virus now that it's officially an infection. (sometimes we HAVE to let things get worse before we can make 'em better, I guess.)

Y'all -- I don't think we all need to switch teams. Just saying that I might butch things up a little in order to stay on program! I haven't felt any body heat-- um for a long time.... don't know if it was the hysterectomy, the breast cancer + chemo and radiation, or the 80 pounds I put on since then. Can you be a slut when you're 60?

Happy --- I had that eye flash and floater thing last spring. Mine was "only" aging. Glad you're getting it checked. If it IS a retinal issue, they can FIX that... (No body "needs" to get decrepit... it's just unavoidable.)
....and congrats on your 35 year anniversary.

MadCat-- Do you do any boards at WW? Can't wait to find out more about the big "O".... ONTARIO, that is.

Mel-- you always say just what I need to hear. I wish that the bells or whatever that you are hearing were as pleasant.... I suppose it makes sense that some of us are nicer to others than ourselves, since the ones who are mean to us and nice to themselves are so prevalent. But I want to be my friend not my enemy.
... congrats for making decisions that feel good & right.

Ruth-- hope your reunion with your friend is wonderful. Tea, (or a beer) and friends, memories, tears and adequate tissues.... what could be better?

Shad -- hope the nutcases at work are back in their shells. I'll join the pro-Toyota legion. Do you have Solara's there? They're pretty sleek and not teensy. Coupes not sedans.

DH seems happy working in the woodworking shop this afternoon. When I get my posts posted, I'm off to the paints!
And then the laundry.

She gave me an antibiotic. I have to take 2 a day for 7 days. The darn things are horse pills lol. They NEVER want to let anything that has to do with my lungs get worse before it gets better. I all to quickly go into phenomena.

Painter - glad to hear you're digging out the paints again. Seems like it's been a while. Enjoy.

The eye turned out to be as Painter said - just aging. I could describe it, but it's gross. Let's just say it will rectify itself over time. Doc said I did the right thing coming to have it checked out. You should have seen him trying to get the eye drops in my eyes  I am NOT a good candidate for eye surgery :lol3: I kept pulling away from him. And I wasn't doing it on purpose, just a reflex action. I think we dialated my nostrils as much as my eyes. :yikes: I am quite blind without my glasses. 5 feet away from me and you have no face at all kinda blind. Well I found there's a worse blind - eyes dialated and no glasses. It's like looking at the world through a bowl of water that you smeared with petroleum jelly. Very wierd. I'm sure it would have been more fun if I was slightly buzzed - pass me the bottle Ruth, will yah?

It's mostly worn off now which is good as I have to do some Internet surfing to plan our trip although I am sitting in a dark room with sunglasses as just the white backlight of the screen is a bit bright for me.

Hope you're enjoying your Saturday. Don't spend the entire weekend working Shad.

Oh and we're still considering buying the house in Rhode Island. DH is more against it than not but we are thinking it through. Shoot -- it's 2 miles from the ocean - heck I'd pitch a tent and live in the back yard just to get bathroom priviledges. And I'd get to eat seafood again. :T I miss having decent fish.

Um yeah. Particularly since I don't drive the highways/expressways

Buying the house in RI would mean we both get to retire early :yay: :yay:

After much discussion, doesn't look like it's going to happen :( :( :( At least not for now. 18 months from now would be much better timing.

Guess what. Came to work this afternoon and I can get into the site again. Wonder upon wonder. You lot are not pornographic any more. What happened, who knows. Maybe they did a back up and put things to rights. Anyway, I am here for the time being.

This morning I went for my morning exercise to Subiaco to the markets to get fresh fruit and veg and flowers and a friend rung me just as I was on the way home to ask if I wanted to go to Hillarys for lunch. Now I don't know Hillary - what is she talking about. It turns out that Hillarys is a seaside town/resort with shops and boardwalks etc. So we went and had fish and chips for lunch at the beach. It was very nice. My friend wanted to go shopping afterwards - her husband (lovely man) is leaving for Capetown, South Africa next Sunday to see his Mother and my friend Zen is meeting up with him and her sisters there in about 3 weeks time. So Zen wanted to get some gifts and things that aren't easily found in the Republic. Since I had a fair amount of work to do at home and I wanted to come here, I declined that offer and they dropped me off after lunch and carried on spending.
So here I am, at work, all alone trying to catch up with the changes. My downstairs boss has said NO to some more changes. Bless his little cotton socks.

Meadow - loved the cartoon. Maybe I should print it out in glorious living colour and stick it up in my cubicle. Could keep me chuckling on and off for a while.
While I think about it. Across the road from my apartment building, there is a office with the company name 'The OWIE Group'. Every time I see it, I think about you. The company is meant to provide people to mining groups etc. I'm really not sure of the choice of names for that purpose. There are enough owies going on in the mines without sending special ones.

Mel - I hope you and Jen and Ritchie really enjoy your day out at the picnic and that there is not too many people all ready to get up your nose or hack you off. Enjoy the day. As I think I said in my e-mail, I will ring usual time for you (Saturday) and my Sunday morning. Say hello to Mr Mayor from me - or rather g'day mate - if he is there.

Rennie - 4lbs is great. You are doing well. Sorry to hear about the lung infection and the horse tablets. Somethings just have to be done I'm afraid.

Holly - glad to hear you are feeling better. Take care of that ear. It's so hard when you start to lose hearing. Losing it suddenly must be awful.

Happy - Aging? :yikes: Glad I am never going to get old!!! It would be just great to have white flashes in the eyes, ringing in the ears, and pain in the feet altogether hey! Lemme outa here.
Rhode Island. Sounds nice. I'd like the chowder and the seafood. I thought the chowder in SF was nice, and I so love fish chowder. I can wait 18 months though! Need to build up that nest egg again. Why retire? Why not find something you can do - like have a place that you can earn money from - good ol' English bed and breakfast or a self catering accommodation out the back. Still means housework, but that's better than housework and work and more work. Buy something out in the bush and you can spend the nights checking out the stars - celestial not Hollywood.

Painter - you can be anything you want when you are sixty. I mean I am pushing it and my kids just shake their heads and sigh at some of the more outlandish things I think up to do. Sometimes they even take my advice!!! Crikey now that really is pushing it.
No comment on the 'body heat'. I think fitness levels and self esteem has more to do with that - darn, I just commented on that.

So - October tomorrow (for me) and onto Ontario - with the cool blues and greens of summer and no doubt some of the gorgeous reds and yellows of fall. Can't wait.

Better go do some work. Have fun. See you tomorrow if this thing lets me in!

Having a wonderful weekend with my friend Shirleyanne. Her dog Is sort of a wuss and is allowing Hershey to be the Alpha dog - not that there was any contest. Poor Bella, a rescue Lab, cringes when you look at her but is coming around. Hersh actually gave her an ear lick and showed her how to go up and down stairs.

Time for breakfast AFTER I go out and pick some raspberries. We are off to Church at 10:30 with both dogs. I'll drive them back to Ottawa this afternoon.

Tomorrow is OCTOBER!

Why do I have the feeling lol as you were typing that you sounded like my daughter. MOTHER shut up and take the stupid pill. lol She said the same thing, sorry they are horse pills ( she was not sorry lol ) shut up and take the darn thing lol.

It has really blown the kids away. I am not a complainer, I never complain. My arm could fall off and I would just pick it up, sigh because I was to darn busy to go to the doctor and then take the arm and myself to the doc to have it put back on. NOT this time. Everyone in this house now knows what I go thru when they are sick. I have wondered around telling everyone including the coffee maker I am sick. I have moaned and groaned. I have sneezed in every room lol. I have sighed at the top of my voice and said, NO ONE CARES IF I DIE. This morning my son said Mom what is up with you. You never bother with being sick. I said ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh now you know what I go thru each and every time you or your sister have the sniffles. lolol

My husband was laughing and said. Was it a lot of work to act like us. I said I am existed. How do you all do this the whole time you are sick. I don't think they got the complete point. They just laughed at me.

Shad- glad you made it on here and that we are not pornographic any longer.

I will have to take lots of fall pics on my tour next weekend.

Had another nice long sleep. As did the rest of the people here. So nice for us all. DH is out in the bush hauling in wood. Deer hunting season starts tomorrow and he wants to get it finished today for obvious reasons. Getting shot is not an option.
I do need to get groceries today. After we eat I will clear the diningroom table so DS can do his homework and then clean the kitchen. When hubby comes in for lunch I will go shopping. MUCH cleaning and laundry to do today.
I have a lot less pain in my ear and side of my head. I would say my hearing is at about 75%.

So glad to hear you are feeling better. The antibiotic the doc gave me yesterday is already starting to work. I can feel everything breaking up and I can hear a bit better.

Hunting season is upon us. Hubby is a bow hunter will be time soon for meat in the freezer :).

Cleaning is done except a quick run thru. One more load of laundry to fold and the day is mine.

Good morning chicks,

Everyone is sounding chipper today.

Mel - moving to RI would mean getting out of Tennessee once and for all. Still looking for that place to ultimately retire to. But it ain't going to happen (at least not for the moment). If we did then YOU would be the southern sister - Are you saying by your comment of driving the chair that when your peepers are acting up that your vision gets all blurry like that? :yikes: I had no idea. Cripes honey, that deserves a good snort  Today I'm seeing little black flecks, like ground black pepper but as long as I don't look at anything with a white background, it's ok. I can deal with anything as long as I know it's temporary. Hope you get out for just a bit of nice, fresh air today. I'll ask the people around you to keep the schmutz levels down just for you :lol3: Guess you "fig"ured out that there's yet another food that goes on the off limits list. Sorry to hear about that.

Shad your breakfast sounds just absolutely lovely. What a nice break from a stressful week. Hope you don't have to work too long today. Thank goodness someone stood up and finally said - NO MORE CHANGES :nono: I didn't realize that you like "chow-duh" would have made you some if I had known. I always find these things out AFTER you leave  Ok, put it in the file for next time. :write:

Good to hear you are feeling better Rennie and Holly. All this talk of hunting, must mean that fall is approaching. Takes a tremendous amount of skill to go bow hunting, bravo on the DH Rennie.

Pretty picture Ruth. Glad you and Shirleyanne (love that name) are having a good time.

Well as usual, I do have alot to do today and it's not getting done in front of a computer so off I go.

 to Painter, Carla, Madcat, Meadow, Ceejay, Nae and I know I'm forgetting someone (sorry).

Go have some fun...

I don't tend to eat a lot of meat. His hunting fills the freezer until next hunting time. That meat I eat. Natural, low in fat and tastes good lol. I would never make fun of our veggie friends here. I know they are eating how they think is best for them and that is good. Vegetarian, Indian word for bad hunter lol.

Morning all,
Yep it is still back but the world clock is now off limits so I won't ring anyone on that side of the world in case my maths has worked the time differences out wrong again.
I'm back at work - well it is Monday, but today is a holiday Monday here in WA. Proclamation Day or Queens Birthday or something. I didn't realise it was a public holiday until around a week ago or I would have gone home or gone away for the weekend, but there you go. Should have looked at the calendar more closely.

I weighed and measured officially this morning this being the 1st of October here. And I am challenging myself to a loss this month. October has to be better than September doesn't it? So there it is - this time I am going to do some exercise, but not as much as I was. It seems this body now needs more time to recover. And I am going to practice portion control. That's the aims for the month.

Rennie - I see you have put another smilie on the bottom of your post. Congratulations - another 5lb gone. Doing great. I have a son who is vegetarian. He is doing okay, I was worried about protein etc at first, but he is adamant he feels so much better without meat. He always used to have headaches and stomach aches but no longer complains about any of that. He was also allergic to cows milk as a baby and child. So maybe there is something there. Anyway his vegeism has shown me more ways to do things with veges so I am happy about that.
You have my permission to harp on and on about how sick you are and how horrible the horse tablets are. Maybe next time they get sick, they may remember how bad tempered and grumpy you sounded. On the other hand maybe not. Miracles don't happen that often.

Happy - I was there in the middle of sum-muh so chow-duh wasn't even a blip on the culinary calendar at the time. Besides which you made that yummy strawberry and spinach salad that I like so much. Should try that out on the DS1 and partner when they come over next month. I'm glad the boss has said no more changes as well. It will be interesting to see the look on my team members face when she reads the direction. But I'll not be nasty about it.

Holly - glad to hear you are on the road to recovery. Please take plenty of pics for us to enjoy the Ontario onset of autumn. Glad to hear that the DH is taking the safe option on firewood retrieval. Seem to remember some bloke in NZ got shot dead in hunting season and he was wearing a bright red anorak. Now I ask you - what animal goes happily along in the forest in a coat of bright red? The only thing that is red in NZ forests is the Rata flower and it only blooms at the top of trees and the flower is not man-size and doesn't move around a lot.

Mel - got the note. Went to see what sort of time you would be looking at only to find the world clock is now classed as pornographic. Suggest someone might have put Elvis' legs as the pendulum and the gyrating hips have upset the nanny. Life is so ironic.

Ruth - enjoy your time with Shirleyanne and Bella. We always had Anne Marie and Maryanne in NZ but when I came to Aus - there were the 'annes everywhere. Belinda-anne, Sueanne, Jananne, Keira-anne, you name it, it probably had anne tacked on the back. Glad Hersh has someone to show the way. It's probably done her as much good as it has you. Drive safe. Love the photo. Keep 'em rolling in.

And with that - it's time to go do some work. I'm on my own here. It's quiet, warm and peaceful. Now watch some buzzard come and stuff it up. See ya.

I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go!

The joke around here was I don't get grumpy when I am sick. I just do what I need to do and leave me alone. All the rest of them are on deaths door as soon as a sniffle hits. They found out this week what I have to put up with out of them. They didn't care, they just laughed at me. Except for the hubby of course he at least bought me a box of Puff plus lol.
