I have some shin splint pain in my leg but I am on a roll with exercise and was wondering, would riding my bike be easier on them? I've been walking 2 miles a day on hilly roads, and even though I am stretchng, I still have some pain. I iced them last night, and they feel a lil' better, but it still hurts & I am still hobbling lol...

I don't want to stop. I don't even want rest days. I want to either walk or ride my bike these 2 miles every day no matter what.

Yes, ride your bike for a while. Also, make sure you have proper shoes that aren't worn out.

When I first started running a million years ago, I ran through them for months. They eventually went away, but it was really painful and I could have caused more serious injury but didn't know better at the time.

Stretch, ice, good shoes...

Thanks Mel, I'm out the door now to go bike riding before it gets hot. :)
