Default Tummy Tuck Jeans

I was walking through a department store today and saw a rack of "Tummy Tuck" jeans. Perhaps some of you have seen them? They're made by a company called NYDJ (Not Your Daughter's Jeans) and their slogan is "made for real women with real curves". The photo on the tag shows a before and after of a woman standing sideways, with a much flatter stomach in the after (of course!)

Here's a link to their site: Tummy Tuck Jeans

I didn't have a chance to try a pair on, but they might be something to consider if you're dealing with some abdominal skin/fat issues. If anyone tries them on or buys a pair, be sure to post a review!

Just an FYI - Lee Jeans has a type of these jeans that are at Walmart now, $20. I haven't tried them YET.

Hahaha, wow.

I'd say that I need to get a pair of them, but I couldn't see myself wearing anything that rises that high.

The reason they tuck your tummy in is because they swallow it!

Sweetie, you are several decades too young to be wearing Tummy Tuck jeans. They're made for old ladies like me. Remember, the company is Not Your Daughter's Jeans. You, my dear, need Not Your Mom's Jeans! (and we all envy you being able to wear low-rise)

!!!

You know what, though? I bet my mom would appreciate those jeans...

So I have to ask, why CAN'T older women wear low rise jeans? Is it that the body shape changes with age, or that they just don't want to appear to be hanging on to their youth too tightly?

Older women can (I wear low-rise jeans ) but you just have to be sure you can carry it off. The only thing worse than a young muffin top is an old muffin top.

It's even more sad when you see SKINNY young women with muffin tops because they don't know how to select the proper pants size! Luckily, I've never been one of those girls.

I wear low rise jeans too (at 40) - but they come up to my belly button. I just have a short torso and (relatively) longer legs. But I buy them big enough to avoid muffin tops!!
