Default Oh the joys of fluctuations...

Well yesterday and the day before I was in Onederland (199 and 197) and then today I am back up to 202. UGHHH. The frustration of it all! I know I ate a few things yesterday that I shouldn't have eaten (a tbsp of ranch on my salad and a couple spoonfuls of pasta salad) but it wasn't anything too extreme. These fluctuations are just the worst, because I was hoping not to see 2 at the beginning of the number on the scale ever again! Now I guess I'll just have to wait and see which one is my true weight and which was the fluctuation. GRR.

Hey!

The couple of things you ate couldn't have caused a sudden weight gain, so it could be water weight.

Stay with your plan and be sure to drink water. Oddly, drinking water helps flush out your system and the excess water weight with it.

Hang in there!

Thanks Jay! I'm aware that those things wouldn't have caused such a gain, but it helps remind me that I shouldn't be eating such foods. I'll be drinking lots of water today, since I did slip off that a bit in the past couple of days.

Yeah those fluctuations are a pain in the rear! But those things you ate shouldn't have made you gain, so it's probably just water weight. I'm the queen of water weight so I sympathize with your frustration. I've been known to put on close to 8 pounds of water weight when it's time for my TOM. When I started my period in middle school I had to buy two pairs of pants in a size bigger so that I would have pants to wear for the week or so that I would be on my period. Thank goodness for birth control now I'm more normal 2-3 pounds. But anyways, just drink lots of water and it'll flush it out.

Thanks! I'm going to be the water guzzling queen today, because I want to see my true weight on the scale tomorrow!

Don't worry too much about it! It took me until about 195 before I stopped seeing that dreaded 2!
