Hi, welcome to 3FC

I've moved your thread to our low carb forum. We have a lot of low carb experts here that will understand what you're going through and hopefully give you some tips to get through it.

Good luck!

Hi-!
Let's see
Breakfast- Some kind of omlet w/ green veggies and cheese
Lunch (my toughest meal)- Diet soda, deli meat
Dinner- Grilled low carb veggies in evoo, some form of protien
(2) snacks a day- usually cheese stick or raw veggies and dip
Now that I look at this on my screen, this is a pretty sorry menu :0(
LC is alot harder than I ever thought.
I checked out your before and after pics. And all I have to say is you look GREAT girl-! Cudo's to you for loosing 100+. You have re-inspried me :0)

Hi!

Thank you for your kind words

If you want my opinion, it doesn't look to me like you are eating enough. How much water are you drinking everyday? I notice you mention diet soda...that is a common staller for some people (me included). I also have my suspisions about deli meat. Its processed, contains a lot of sodium and can also contain sugar. Maybe try a salad for lunch instead with some grilled chicken or tuna salad.

LC isn't really that difficult...its just very important that its done the way it was meant to be done.

Continued success to you! You CAN do this!!!

Kim

Just joined today... but ready to jump in!

I've been doing Atkins for 5 weeks now and what has saved me the most is eating and drinking lots of water. For a quick "pick me up" I'll mix up a can of tuna fish with mayo & sunflower seeds and eat the whole thing! Then a lot of water.

Hang in there!

it'll pass after a few days. basically you muscle stored glyocgen is beign depleted and without carbs to regenerate this quickly you'll feel shattered. the body switches to oxidative energy burnign fat for fuel. within a few days you'll feel much better as the glycogen is replaced however oxidative energy is much slower than carb energy so hang in there.
