I live in a hot climate, and sometimes find that I am just not hungry enough to bother with heating up the kitchen! Believe it or not, I have eaten a carb cravers meal---raisin bran and milk---for dinner the past two days. Cereal for dinner really hits the spot sometimes.
I understand that some of the deli meat manufacturers make a low-sodium product or two. I think some cold sliced beef or turkey, rolled up with lettuce and cheese, would be a great hot weather, no-fuss meal as well. Doesn't Boar's Head have low-sodium products?
At least the hot weather won't last for ever, so we will feel like cooking (and eating, alas) again soon.
