Hiya CJ! Welcome! I just finished my first week on Phase 1 and I'd have to say that it was pretty successful. I physically feel so much better ~ energetic, happier... empowered. (Of course, the first few days weren't so enjoyable as the caffeine/sugar/carb addiction was wearing off!) This is a great place to keep motivated and get support -- you'll love it!
I am trying to just limit my caffeine intake, I dont think I can wack it out completely. I am cherry coke zero junkie - its pretty bad. I am going to drink 8 oz of water for every 8 oz of caffeine...we will see how that works....

Glad to have you with us! Just work on drinking a little less Coke each day and before you know it, you'll be down to the 1-2 servings a day that Dr. A recommends. Caffeine really messes with your insulin and the sugar substitutes may be making you crave, too, so that change may really make a huge difference in your eating!
Welcome to the site. It is wonderful, the girls are truly your new best friends. I started phase 1 last Wednesday, doing really well, except I am tired and a little sick to my stomach. Maybe I am feeling sorry for myself, since I am doing without my sweets. Keep checking in, also the recipes are great that the girls have posted. Good Luck and Welcome
