Default Proof that not

planning gets you everytime!

I had about 1850 calories today. That's WAY over my limit. I'm usually around 1300. I had BK for dinner because we didn't get home until 8:30 and both kids needed baths and it was already 30 minutes past bedtime. I suck! I still did a work out video after dinner though. So, thank God for that!

Back at it tomorrow. I won't let it bring me down!

Hey ItsAbout,

I hear you about the planning! If "No plan" means that the best thing you can come up with is BK... well, there you have it!

Get back on track! Make BK a non-option! You can do it!

Sometimes life .... happens. Getting home late and kids needing to be bathed - there's certainly no way to avoid that.

Maybe you can have some meals made ahead of time and in the freezer. Or a few days ahead of time and kept in the fridge. You could pop them in the oven or microwave and while they're heating up you can bathe the kiddies.

Yesterday was NOT a total wipe out by any means. No reason to beat yourself up about it. And yes, today is a brand new day. ZERO reason for you to not jump right back on today. Good luck. You CAN do this.

Itsabouttime, I agree it happens, to the best of us, but today you can start fresh. I mean 1800 calories isnt THAT bad. If it had been 3000 or something that is BAD...but it is over your plan by 500 calories so you will have to accept it.

I know you can get back in there and have a better day today. I know how tough Dakota people are

I totally agree about the "no planning" being bad. I don't know what i am going to do this week. Out of chicken and out of money. Sounds like a tuna and pickles kind of week. Tomorrow my boyfriend will be buying me lunch of boiled shrimp. Healthy and light in calories. Dinner???I have no idea. But i'll spend the better part of today trying to think and plan and figure it out. Might just be a light calorie day tomorrow.

But yeah, don't beat yourself up. We had pizza at chucky cheese's sunday night because we were there so late playing games. But 2 slices is not the end of the world. Just do better the next day. Good luck!! i know you can do this!!!

Don't beat yourself up, it's not a huge deal. You have the right attitude! Jump back in tomorrow, don't let it slow you down.

As others have said, it's okay to have an off day once in a while, 1850 cals isn't as bad as it could have been, and you did your workout video afterwards, so don't be so hard on yourself...it sounds like you had a busy/stressful day...if you ask me, you did great!

Don't sweat over it. I am sure it's happened to every one of us sometime in our journey. No matter how hard you plan, real life does happen, and we can't always live in our perfect diet world, try as we may. Hop back on tommorrow and forget about tonight.

500 extra calories is just 1/7 of a Lb - that probably wouldn't even register on your scale!

Besides bodies tend to like to be kept guessing. It helps avoid the evil plateu!
