I am trying right now to get the money together for my first meeting. I am excited. I did Atkins for 6 months and lost 40 pounds. But I dropped out of it and gain it back plus 20. I have had a fear of dieting ever since. I was afraid of losing and gaining back plus. I don't want to be bigger then I am.

I am hoping this is an answer to my prayers.

I have tried Atkins before, and the thing about it (in my opinion) is that it is not a lifestyle change. Atkins does not teach you how to eat like a normal person. WW teaches you how to eat CORRECTLY, real food, in the right proportions.

If you follow the plan, take it one day at a time, and don't give up, you will be a success!

I agree with Paige, trying something that you can't do forever is not going to be effective long term. WW really works and teaches a lifestyle change more than cutting out things it would be hard to give up for long periods of time (bread, sugar etc.) Best of luck to you. Everything will start to click in no time.
