WW Clubs and Groups - Christmas Eve!! **Dec 24**

Yes, I'm here too, for a few hours anyway. I'll check back later to see if anyone else is around. At least the weather is cooperating out here - it is absolutely gorgeous and sunny. what a change!

Hey KT! It's really cold, here, but sunny and beautiful!!
I'm sitting here, playing solitaire, sipping some Jamba Juice...We're looking at a loan for a guy wanting to refinance some Jamba Juice chains and he brought us all some jamba juice!
I had the strawberry banana something or other. It was good, but too filling!
I decided not to get any work done today. I'm outie at 1pm!

I've never heard of the juice. I'm basically playing at my computer because my job right now requires students to actually come to the window and what student in their right mind would be at this university on a beautiful day, right before christmas. They said they'd find something boring for me to do, can't wait!!
there's also way too much junk food here today and I was up at WI on Saturday so I'm trying to avoid it.
Maybe I can go riding if I get off early enough and work off some of those sugar cookies.

Hi Stacey, KT and Kier ...

Busy, busy, busy day. Our deadline is 3 p.m. and I've already written two stories with one more to go. Then, I have to write a story for next weekend (cuz I'm off the rest of the week. THEN, I have to cover a vigil at 6 p.m. for a teen-ager who was murdered last Christmas Eve! The story won't even go in tomorrow's paper, because of early deadlines, but I'll write it right away anyway so I don't have to come in tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to get home in time to change for the Christmas Eve church service at 10:30!

50 minutes to go ... I better get to it!

Hey, Candians: Can someone explain to me exactly what Boxing Day is?

Kim - I am a born and bred Canadian and I don't "really" know what boxing day is. I'm pretty sure it's just an excuse for another statutory holiday - you guys have president's day - we don't have a president kind of thing. We talk about it being the day we clear away all the boxes from christmas and pack up decorations and stuff. Really, it's just a reason for a day off work and some AMAZING sales in retail.
