Hi there!

I'm a 25 year old Canadian gal from Montreal. I was reccommended this forum by someone else. I've struggled with my weight for a long time, hovering between 135 and 150 on my 5'2 frame. I also struggled with bulimia from the time I was about 9 years old. Then about 4 years ago I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and put on medication for that. I also had to take time off from school. I basically sat around and cried and ate. In a period of about a year, I put on over 100 lbs and got to the point where I could barely walk from the car to my front doorstep. Finally about 4 months ago, I moved into a group home for people with mental illness, and I decided that something had to be done. I started eating healthier and watching my intake, and I've lost 30 lbs so far. I can already move more easily and walking has become easier than it was. I still have far to go, but I'm not giving up this time!
