Monday: I've done the minimum today, but I plan to to more: Did 45min of eliptical with 60 crunches (In the morning!!!)

Tuesday: Will be going to the gym soon, and then may be follow by a brisk walk outside for an hour with a friend. - Gym: 45min eliptical, 80 crunches, and then 3 sets of 10 of various strengh training machinery for about 45 min in total (total work out 1h 30min)

Wednesday: morning work out is planned:Yes, Iam done with my morning workout 45min eliptical, 80 crunches, and 30 leg press with 90lb weight. And I finally was able to get to work at 9:30 as opposed to 10 or slightly after that. (Was hoping to do walking in the evenign but was too sleepy)

Thursday: morning work out of 45min eliptical, 60 crunches, and a 10 seconds and a 15 seconds stand (elbows on the floor and toes point to the floor while all body is lifted. Working on getting up to 1 min slowly increasing a few seconds at a time)
So 2nd entry for Thursday! During workday I felt tired, but after work, there was energy, so I changed at home and drove back to the gym to do: 45min of various weight lifting...when I returned home a friend was waiting for me, and we did 40min of walking around in a pretty brisk pace...

Friday: finally I slept during the night, so I ignored 6am alarm, but went directly to the gym after work, and spent there 1h 45min: 45min eliptical, weights and resistance machines the rest of the time.

Saturday: 45min eliptical, and 10 min of weights - muscells were sore.
I was thinking may be I should reward myself, though generally it is not common for me. Besides I never feel I derve rewards. After the workout, sweaty and all, I drove my car for an oil change. They told me 1.5 hrs of wait, so after just 5min, I got up and decided to walk to a nearby mall (20-25min walk). I did go to a see a movie (first time in my entire life a movie alone) I saw Harry Potter, except I had to leave 10min before it ended! Because it was 4:45 and the car place was closing at 5. The way back I ran most of the time, but thanks g* I made it, otherwise I would be w/o my car till Monday!

Sunday:

All up to Saturday: Foodwise choice have been SUPER good. I should be proud of myself, but I think I need to hold some contentment, so that I don't start celebration before onederland....61more pounds to get there.

Slipped on both food and exercise this weekend, so back on track today. (I know I say it a lot, but I LOVE the blessing of knowing that I have the opportunity to get back on track when I've made errors. May be a cliche, but I love the thought that I'm striving for progress, not perfection.)

Monday - Swam one hour. Went back and swam 20 minutes. Walked 6 miles

Tuesday - Swam one hour. "Aquacized" for one hour.

Wednesday - Swam 40 minutes. Walked 4 miles. (Tried to break in new shoes, but ended up with blisters.)

Thursday - Swam 45 minutes, Aquacized one hour, strength training 15 minutes

Friday - Swam 40 minutes. Walked around amusement park for eleven hours.

Saturday - Swam 45 minutes.

Wednesday: Walked DS's puppy down the street to play w/ a neighbors dog. They wear each other out, very fun to watch. Puppy is still learning to walk on the leash, so it was a difficult walk. About 10 min.
Then I took my dog on our 30 min walk around the neighborhood.

Worked out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Gym isn't open on Sunday. Y'all have no idea how unprecedented this is! And I've been trying to do a little more each day, too. My confidence is increasing as I keep trying things I don't know if I can do, and find out I can.

I should be proud of myself, but I think I need to hold some contentment, so that I don't start celebration before onederland....61more pounds to get there.

No way! Celebration should start with the first pound lost and continue through the first fifteen years of maintenance or so. There are some GREAT ways to celebrate, too. I splurge on raspberries as payment for a really good workout. I promised myself a professional haircut after twenty pounds (am scared to get it, though - never had one in my life). I find that I'm actually eating food that I enjoy instead of just eating whatever is convenient. I can run and play with my children so much more than I used to. At baseball games, I can chase the foul balls with the kids if I want. I'm starting to need to buy smaller clothes. And I've just started my journey! IMHO - there is NO WAY you should wait for 61 more pounds to come off before you start celebrating too. There is so much joy in the control we are learning to have over our lives - it's not just about the numbers on the scale.

Many of us go back and use "edit" to add to our original post. When you edit, the thread doesn't bump up to the top. Probably a good idea to bump it up every so often so it stays on the first page.

Shellie, :bravo: to you for trying new things and working out so much. I bet you feel great!

It is 6:30PM here and I have yet to go and work out. I did walk in the mall, and got my grocery shopping done, but that's not nearly enough.
I need to go, but something is pulling me back, though I know I will go and do 2.5 hours, because I made a bet with friend. May even just the fact of the bet makes me mad...But he said if I do 2.5 I can ask him for anythign within reason...ex: 150 round trip ticket to LA to visit him. If I don't he gets to choose what he wants...and I am not yet to give him control over me :-)
So I should pack up, I am thinking of what excercise to do...

Now about food: I've been super good all this time :-)
