Question should i start phase 1 again?

ok, with all the bad eating and trying to get back on track, and going on vacation on sunday, i'm thinking of starting phase 1 all over again when i get back on thursday. because i let myself slip, my sweet tooth came back. my weight has stalled, wonder why? lol so i ask, is this a good idea or should i stick with phase 2, and if i do phase 1 for how long?

It never hurts to go back to phase 1 if you think you might need some help with the cravings. I would normally go back to phase 2 after periods of eating off plan foods. This time I felt that phase 1 would help me so I started it on July 1st. Some people need to do 14 days of phase 1. I did 7 of perfect phase 1 and then added in fruit. I've stayed away from grains for the full 14 days (except for one slip) and it has helped. I've also lost 4 pounds of the weight that I had put on lately.

Everyone is different though. Some need the entire 14 days. Some only need a few.

Do you plan to stick with Phase 1 while on vacation? If not, I would restart Phase 1 when you get back. I think that people that are successful restarting in a Phase 2 mindset and eating way are ones who have been very successful with SBD over a long period of time. If you plan on going on vacation in a "vacation mode" of eating, then you will have many cravings to rid your body of and Phase 2 may not do that for you.

Does this make sense at all??

I agree. The point of Phase 1 is to get rid of the cravings. If the cravings are plaguing you, then redo Phase 1 at a time when you know you will be able to stick with it (as in, vacation may not be the best mindset for Phase 1, unless that's motivating to you). It's your decision, but redoing Phase 1 will help you smash those cravings, which will make going back to Phase 2 easier.

thank you for all your advice. i will try not to go off plan too much on vacation. and there is no way to stick with phase 1 in disneyland, so it will have to wait until after.
