Default Log in your mileage/exercise here!!

Hi everyone!
I have been exercising lately-much to my own suprise!
I am really not an exercise kind of gal, but I am trying. I thought if I logged in when I did exercise, it may motivate me to do it more often!
Anyone care to join me?? Feel free to log your mileage walked, that you did a video, swam laps, whatever it is you do!
I have walked 2 miles three times (started trying to take walks on July 4th with my son.)
My total-6 miles for July!!
hope you join me-it can be motivating to post your movement. It takes some time to report a pound lost but we can exercise any day we want!!

Wonderful idea Laura.

I just recently started the walking too, the day after the fourth. I started with a Walk Away the Pounds video and i am LOVING it. It is just the one mile series but i have more on the way from Netflix.

So 5 miles so far this month for me, as per bottom ticker.

hi Christina and Get n healthy!
thanks for joining in! I plan on walking tommorow on my day off. The past two days I had my step kids here (total of four kids in the house!)
I just wanted to check in and say hi! I think my thoughts on exercise are starting to change. I have lost weight numerous times and in the past I hardly ever exercised. If I did it was when I was closer to goal. Now I figure it will help offset any extra calories and also make me healthier too!
well take care and I hope to report some great exercise tommorow~

I do about 20km a day on the Ellipitcal Cross Trainer, some free weights 3 times a week and some sit-ups, a brisk walk is as good as a run I believe, if you have 4 kids that will be exercise in itself

OK, I got the 2 miles in today! total of 8 miles for July!

Mertuk-sounds like you get a lot of exercise in! You are right keeping up with 4 kids is a lot! Just doing the cooking, dishes, and keeping up the house is a job and a half!

hope to see lots of posting here. I know this is helping me exercise more, just knowing I can post it and keep track of the totals!

woo hoo!! 3 miles today! total now 13, almost one mile average per day if you look at it! Now I will have to do 2 tommorow to make it 15 miles (on the 15th day of the month!)
Like I said before, I used to only exercise when I got closer to my goal. I don't know if it was rationalizing I was "too big" to exercise or if just thinking I can lose fast enough without it and why not wait until losing gets harder? I don't know, but for some reason I am trying to do it the right way this time with both the diet and the exercise.

Christina-thanks! and I think I am secretly hoping this will move my weight loss a little faster too! I really want to be 225 or less at the holidays. That's gonna take some effort!!

how is everyone else doing?
