South Beach Diet - Inches lost??? What do you guys think?View Full Version : Inches lost??? What do you guys think? little chick 07-08-2007, 10:54 AM I was just wondering if anyone else may be interested in doing a thread ( making it a sticky ) on inches lost? I just took my measurments and it popped into my head:D tomandkara 07-08-2007, 11:11 AM I'm scared to measure inches. I don't know why. It seems more intimidating than pounds. Kara Schmoodle 07-08-2007, 11:25 AM me too Kara, I had to force myself to face that scale number. I don't know if I could take all those other numbers. I'm sure it's a good way to track progress though. tomandkara 07-08-2007, 11:29 AM Maybe it would be good for us...like facing our demons! Kara weezle 07-08-2007, 11:32 AM I measured myself before I got back on the wagon this time around. I haven't measured myself yet because I've only lost like 10 lbs, but I'm down. May as well, right? Bust: 1 Waist: 1.5 Hips: 0.5 Thighs: 0.5 (each) Total: 4 inches lost since 6/25/07 Not too bad, actually! I wasn't expecting that much! Lisa little chick 07-08-2007, 01:37 PM Way to go Lisa, I know that everyone says that their clothes feel loser but the scale is not showing anything. I thought this might be a good idea. Ruthxxx 07-08-2007, 01:42 PM It's a good idea and when you have it set up, I'll make it a sticky. This is a really busy forum so the participating chickies will be in charge. Let us know what you decide. (I'm not opting out on this one - just have too much to do already!) little chick 07-08-2007, 01:52 PM Ruth I will get something set up either this afternoon or later tonight. Thanks for all the stuff you mods do. You are the best. Take care and have a great afternoon. LC Sarynit 07-08-2007, 02:25 PM How often will we measure? Kim_Star060404 07-08-2007, 02:37 PM I'm in! My trainer measured me this week and I'm anxious to see how I'm doing next week! little chick 07-08-2007, 05:22 PM We can do it monthly just like the monthly weight loss target. We don't have to have a set amount that we want to lose just something to keep track on the inches lost. weezle 07-08-2007, 05:34 PM Sounds good to me! I'll start recording it on the fridge with my weight loss and measure every 4 weeks. What a great idea, LC! little chick 07-08-2007, 05:40 PM Lisa- I have started a new thread, Ruth will sticky it as soon as we get started. So you can keep track on here as well as your fridge. Ruthxxx 07-08-2007, 07:47 PM Please add your measurements to the thread entitled "Keeping Track of Our Inches Lost" which is a Sticky above. vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
