Well, really I haven't been totally gone... My life completely exploded two months ago and even though I am still reeling from the aftershock I have discovered one thing...exercise helps...feeling good about the food I am putting in my body and that I am working towards my ultimate weight goal makes me feel at least somewhat in control of something.

I had reached about 163 a few short weeks ago...but after about three weeks of complete **** I had dropped down to about 153 which is about where I am right now. I had fallen into a minor funk and exercise had fallen by the wayside which only made matters worse...so I am back... And I just want to thank you all because even though I have not been up to posting or journalling I never stopped coming to this site...

Welcome back! Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having in life. But you have a great point about exercise. When everything feels like it is spinning out of control, it is nice to have some control over ANYTHING. Hope things are going better for you now.

Hey thanks for the welcome back...

As for my life...well...I have learned that everything is relative and compared to a few weeks ago...yes it is better...compared to my life before two months ago...well let's just say that my life will never be that good again so I am trying not to think about it too much and go on from here.

I am reading Criss Angel's new book and you might laugh but he is an inspiration to me with his drive and determination. I am adopting his motto as my own mantra...mind...body...spirit..connected.

I am using exercise, diet, and yoga/meditation as stress relief and mood elevators and am determined if nothing else I will get to my goal this year, I have been messing around with this long enough. It it time to do it.

And I am grateful for every day and for anything that I can find that makes me smile. You guys do that so thanks again...
