I have a question about the 4g of fiber cap. What exactly does this mean? I love the fiber one bars, but they have 9g of fiber. How does this work?

I love the fiber one bars, but they have 9g of fiber. How does this work? Kelly_S 07-07-2007, 08:45 PM It means that no matter what the fiber is you can only use 4 gms for figuring points. Fiber reduced the points of a food. So your Fiber One Bars that have 9 gms is only calculated at the max of 4 gms. If you have the slide from meetings you will see the fiber part only goes up to 4 gms. If you use online or e-tools the computer will automatically cap the fiber at 4 gms no matter what you put in. If you have an electronic calculator depending on the model you may or may not have to automatically put in the 4 gms (newest version is fine no matter what you put it it will automatically only use 4 gms if it is higher). I LOVE the oatmeal chocolate chip ones:D Either way, my points calculator tells me 2 points --- and they actually keep me satisfied. I just bought them yesterday and have already had 3!! I figured I would try them and I am so glad that I did. Enjoy!! TRowe 07-30-2007, 12:16 PM Y'all should try the new All Bran crackers (they are near the wheat thins) they are really good and 18 crackers are only 2 points. It makes for a great snack.
