Yesterday I did the 2 mile watp tape and I think today either my muscles are sore or my hips. Ya know if you run your hands down the side of your hips there is a dip well its right below that and it hurts pretty bad. Even walking or laying on my sides hurt. I may try my 20 min Richard Simmons tape or do nothing till the pain lets up some. Which hopefully be tomorrow. I think it was those side steps that did it.
I don't know how often you are exercising, but there is nothing wrong with taking a day off.
I get very sore hips as well. I got this strech from a physiotheripist and it works for me. Lay down on your back, legs stretched out, with your hands clasped over your knee bring one knee up toward the opposite shoulder and hold 10-15 seconds. Switch sides.
There's nothing wrong with taking a day off after a hard day of exercising. Try starting out slow, and seeing how that feels. Sometimes after sore muscles heat up you don't feel quite so stiff. If that works, just take it easy and do some light exercise. If it's still hurting, take a break. No biggie.
