I saw her on Rosie's show this am and she has a new sugar thats not like sugar but is 99% natural and you can bake and cook with this stuff.

Has anyone seen or tried it.....where do you get this stuff ???
If you tried it how is it?

Thanks, Love Leens

Hey Leens... I haven't tried it but would really like to... you can buy it off of hsn (http://www.hsn.com/) or off her own website Suzannesomers.com (http://www.suzannesomers.com/)

I've been wanting to try it and maybe get her desserts cook book that uses it in the recipes...

Leens,

I don't know the name of the specific sugar mentioned but I am pretty sure that Splenda is all natural and that you can bake with it. You should be able to find it in any grocery store around by you. It is a bit pricey though!

splenda can still affect some people's insulin levels though... according to what I've read any sweetener can. Somersweet on the other hand is actually a fibre and doesn't affect your insulin release.

At least this is what I've learned from reading suzanne's books and a lot of other books... It's why the Heller's say to only use artificial sweeteners with your reward meal.

Hey Girls,

No this isn't splenda, this is suposed to bulk up recipies like sugar does......she called it her own name something or other lololol.

Its suposed to be 99% natural.....thats why I'm asking cause I don't like sweet&low or Nutrasweet or splenda cause of the chemicals.

I'll try to look it up on the web.
Let me know if you find it.

Thanks, Leens

hehe Leens... just cllick on suzannesomers.com (http://www.suzannesomers.com/) and it will take you right to the page where you can buy Somersweet. I did put a link to her site in my first email, but it wasn't a different color than the rest of the text so you couldn't tell....

Lara woman !

I wouldn't eat anything funky until this baby is born...you never know the affects and you certainly don't want to take a chance.

I stayed away from ALL artificial sweetners during my pregnancy because my doctor said it was bad to begin with so why take a chance with your unborn baby.......she's right !!!

Don't worry soon the bambino will be here THEN you can worry about your diet........OKAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love yah !!

PS I ordered the Somersweet stuff.......I'll let you know how it is.
