Okay, thought I'd start a thread today since one hadn't been started yet! Is everyone ready for Christmas? It is sooo not looking like Christmas here in Ontario its hard to get into the spirit! Don't get me wrong the snow can stay away until Dec. 24th.
Have a Christmas party to go to tonight, yesterday was a diet disaster day as well! Oh tomorrow will be a new day and a new beginning again!
Hope you are all having a great Thursday!

No snow here either. The weather guys hyped it yesterday that this big storm front was coming through and we would get our snow finally. We got misty rain and it was yucky!!! I really want some snow for Christmas!!!

Had a meal at church last night that I had to help make. High in points but very yummy. Tonight I have dinner out at a restaurant for a Christmas meeting. I guess the good thing is that this restaurant is known for it's seafood. Either that or I'll have chicken.

Hummm... really tired again today. Need to workout at noon to get my blood pumping!

Weee! Tomorrow is Friday! I'm baking cookies for gifts tonight after my meeting. I just hope I can stay away from the bad stuff!
I totally pigged out yesterday with the Mexican food, but I ate oatmeal for Breakfast, Taco Salad with fajita beef, 3 tortillas with queso and salsa and chips. That's it! I wasn't even remotely hungry for dinner!!!
I've eaten oatmeal so far this morning. and my water is making me full, too. I'll probably eat a chef salad for lunch.
I hope everyone has a great day today!
I need to get some work done so my boss won't have a reason to gripe!
Bye for now,

Anyone looking for a Christmas recipe? Here's one.

<< HOLIDAY FRUIT CAKE
> >
> > 1-cup water
> > 1-cup sugar
> > 4 large eggs
> > 2 cups dried fruit
> > 1-teaspoon baking soda
> > 1-teaspoon salt
> > 1-cup brown sugar
> > Lemon juice
> > Nuts
> > 1-gallon whiskey
> > Simple Directions
> >
Sample the whiskey to check for quality. Take a large bowl. Check the
whiskey again to be sure it is of the highest quality. Pour one level
cup
and drink. Repeat.
Turn on the electric mixer; beat 1-cup butter in a large, fluffy bowl.
Add
1-teaspoon sugar and beat again. Make sure the whiskey is still OK. Cry
another tup.
Turn off mixer. Break 2 legs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of
dried fruit. Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the
beaterers, pry it loose with a drewscriver. Sample the whiskey to check
for
tonsisticaty.
Next, sift 2 cups of salt. Or something. Who cares? Whisk the checkey.
Now sift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add one table. Spoon. Of
sugar or something. Whatever you can find. Grease the oven. Turn the
cake
tin to 350 degrees. Don't forget to beat off the turner. Throw the bowl
out
of the window. Check the whiskey again.
Go to bed. Who the **** likes fruitcake anyway?
