I've been an insane sugar FIEND for the last 2 weeks (its honest hard look at myself time!) I need to detox super bad! Any thoughts? I'm thinking of hiding under the bed tomorrow so that No BBQ passes my lips

thoughts??? how could anyone think in the middle of a carb overload event????

oh - wait - YOU'RE carb-overloaded, and i'm not [at least not right now!]. so, i'll think.

here's the deal. STOP IT!!!! drink lots of WATER [not iced tea, not coffee, not crystal light]. EXERCISE [to better stabilize your blood sugar while you get rid of the carb highs]. EAT PROTEIN [shakes will help here - especially when the snack urge hits]. EAT LOW CARB VEGGIES [no sweet potatoes or winter squash or peas or carrots]. DON'T EAT FRUIT except for some berries after you eat some protein

ok. there. i've told you what works for me. and don't worry too much about the BBQ sauce - it may have SOME sugar in it, but since it's along with good quality protein, that's not so bad. better yet: have a burger!

Check and Double Check I'm going to go get a BIG bottle of water (or 7) and I'm having tuna @ my desk. I have been drinking a lot of those Mix ins for water maybe that kicked off the inhale everything in site Modus. Or maybe I just got Cocky that i "knew what I was doing" not so much!
back to eggs, cottage cheese, salad and good protien
