Good morning everyone.
Well I think I can say that I successfully made it through my first week of maintenance. It was a bit hairy though. At one point the scale was up almost 3 entire pounds - yikes. But since yesterday and still today it is at 138 lbs. I stayed the same. I maintained. So I've got my first week of maintenance under my belt. Whew. I'm not sure what I'm going to do as far as losing/maintaining goes in the future. But for now I think I will just try to maintain for a few weeks or so, subject to change of course. So, I'm not sure if I will be posting my weigh-ins come Monday morning. Can you tell I'm still trying to work everything out in this big old head of mine? :dizzy: :?: :dizzy:

Good morning, Robin! You're up early! Just as you are contemplating whether to ditch this thread, I am finally going to join it. I need an "official" weigh-in time to stop the scale from getting too much in my head.
I saw 219 on my scale this morning! Not promising it won't jump up tomorrow, but I "officially" lost a pound!

I weigh today. I am almost afraid to weigh. I didn't have such a great week. I am learning my boundaries. The old me would not go and weigh today, because of all of my mess ups, but the new me is going to do it. Even if the scale goes up I am not going to get discouraged. You are my inspiration Robin. So - I lost two pounds last week and I'd be really happy about it if I only knew how to move the girl on my slidy thing! Really - I'm happy anyway, but I'd love to move her. Can someone give me a little help??

I stayed the same this week. That's ok, it wasn't a great week, so it is a good thing that I stayed the same. Gotta kick it back up, though!!

Congrats royalsfan - halfway there is a great accomplishment. Congrats also to traci for making it to Onederland...must be so exciting. Save a spot for RF! Way to go on the -2.6 Rhonda...hope that's the kickstart you've been wishing for.
I erased a mysterious gain and lost another 3.5 pounds this week. It's been kind of rocky and inconsistent for the last few weeks despite me being quite consistent, so I'm still a little anxious about what this coming week will bring. :?: We'll see!

I didn't get to go to my WW last week, because I had a million and a half things to do on Monday morning, but in those two weeks, I've lost 2 and a half pounds, which it pretty awesome, I think, especially since I was getting annoyed and didn't really journal what I ate.

Well after the last two weeks of working this really hard and getting minimal results, this week I lost 7 pounds. That's 30 pounds for me. It just fell off this week; who knows why but I'll take it.
Rockinrobin, please keep posting about your maintenance. I think your experiences with that are almost more valuable than the weight loss story itself.

Hi everyone--congratulations on your losses. You are all so inspiring!
Last week was my first week and I lost 10 pounds, probably water. I am 3 pounds from my first target, so I am hoping to hit that over the next tow weeks. This is the longest I have stayed with anything in a long time!!!!

Oh gosh, thank you so much Christy. It's time to post some new pics though, these last 20 lbs have really changed me. Nevermind anyone else, I don't even recognize me anymore. :smug:
Christy stick with it love, it's so darn worth it. So, so, SO incredibly worth it in fact. Quite frankly, I think it's inspiring just the fact that you're here and trying. One step at a time - you'll get there. You CAN do this. I know it for sure. I never thought I'd be able to say that, but I CAN with all honesty say that losing a large amount of weight is doable. Others have done it, I did it - you can do it.

Well lastweek i was only able to work out twice, as we were moving, so i was shocked to see that i was down 2.5 pounds!
I was so afraid i wasn't going to loose anything, but moving and cleaning must have done something....

Happy 4th everyone,
I am posting this, because it is part of my accountability but I am kind of angry, for the past 4 days the scale has been saying 249.5 , this morning on my weigh in day it was up, up!! to 251. I was so busy yesterday!!! I ate 1400 calories, lots of fruit, I did my exercising, sheesh. I wasn't going to post my weight I was so angry and frustrated. But then I talked myself through this, and said who knows weight is strange, I know I am going to loose this weight, even if it takes 10 yrs, So officially I lost 1 pd. sheesh:mad:.

Just stepped off the scale. 314. FINALLY broke through that stinkin plateau! I have been holding steady at 316 for the past 2 weeks. This feels nice, for a change! Oh, and hey...I broke the 25lb mark!!!!!!! :carrot:

I was really busy and didn't get a chance to post this on Monday, but for my official weigh-in on Monday, I came in at exactly 200.0 pounds (2.4 pounds lost last week). Even better, when I weighed myself this morning, I came in at 199.4 pounds! :carrot:

I remember feeling like I was stalled, yes, but I just checked my spreadsheet and it wasn't REALLY a stall. I was at 205, then 204, then 203, then 201, then 200, and I remember wanting some 2-pound losses instead of 1-pound ones because it felt like it was taking forever!! Then I suddenly dropped from 200 to 196. I don't remember doing anything special to hurry it along -- just stayed as strictly on plan as I could. I hope you have a big drop like that that puts you firmly into Onederland!! I remember thinking it was great to drop that far in because I probably wouldn't be able to jump right back out if I screwed up the following week! :lol:

I was going to skip this thread this week....
at my Tuesday night weigh-in I was UP .75 lb. Dang it. I made some poor choices last week AND I ate salty food the day before weigh-in.
This week is shaping up to be better. Provided I don't blow it before Tuesday...

I like reading this tread, it inspires me to keep going strong, so maybe I can actually report a loss here someday.... :)
So far I'm just up 3 pounds (I'm accounting it to my TOM though, and if thats the case then I've lost nothing, and gained nothing. Just stuck.)

I am down 1 pound this week. Which is great, considering I had issues with exercise this week and went over my calories twice. It also helps that I am down into the 230's! :D

Congratulations to all of you that are losing so well this week! Wow! and to the ones who at least aren't gaining!!
I weigh on Fridays but couldn't post until today. My scale is getting tricky. I may need a new one. I have to weigh several times and take the weight that comes up most often. It varied by 2 pounds this morning! I WANTED to take the lowest reading, but that only showed once, so I couldn't. LOL
I lost 3 pounds this week, with very little excercise. That and drinking more water are what I need to start doing. And now I am out of the 240s! My first small goal!
OMG. I need some help. I weighed myself this morning and I am still at 240. I have been at 240 for like a month. I can not believe that I am still at 240. I worked out 4 days this week. I mean I guess that I should be glad that I havent gained with the kind of food that I have been eating. I guess that I have no one else to blame but myself. No one puts that food in my mouth but me. I just dont know why I do this. I am not happy being this big and I have no energy. SO if I am so miserable then why dont I do anything about it.
