I've been working really hard to get in my water. I've been using those flavor tubes you put in bottles about 1 tube to 32 oz of water. Today i forgot them and used some SF lemonade mix I had in my desk. It was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. All of a sudden I was very jittery couldnt' sit still couldn't focus Wanted to gorge on crap (I had some healthy alternatives) and had to Pee like a house on fire.
The only difference in the food I ate today and yesterday (which was a STELLAR eating day!) was that Yesterday my drink stuff had splenda in it and today it had aspartame.
Have you guys ever had an odd reaction to it?

Found this little article from the FDA. I know of a few people who have reactions to aspertane though this may clear or cloud things further.
FDA has continued to review complaints alleging adverse reactions to products containing aspartame. To date, FDA has not determined any consistent pattern of symptoms that can be attributed to the use of aspartame, nor is the agency aware of any recent studies that clearly show safety problems.
Carefully controlled clinical studies show that aspartame is not an allergen. However, certain people with the genetic disease phenylketonuria (PKU), and pregnant women with hyperphenylalanine (high levels of phenylalanine in blood) have a problem with aspartame because they do not effectively metabolize the amino acid phenylalanine, one of aspartame's components. High levels of this amino acid in body fluids can cause brain damage. Therefore, FDA has ruled that all products containing aspartame must include a warning to phenylketonurics that the sweetener contains phenylalanine.
THere is a lot of info out there about the safety of Aspertane, all i know is my joints feel better when I don't drink alot of it. Good luck

Thanks Anna! I've never had that reaction before. . .Except for the Cravings but 2+2 didn't make 4 until today!
