Default Monday, IT'S BAAACCKK

Well it is another Monday. I just caught up on the Friday posts and read sundays. WE are a chatty bunch lately I love it. My wknd was ok. I worked Fri and Sat night so that was tiring. I had my last class on Sat. and that was great. I had a great prof. Anyways I did get to have fun last night though. I had a bunch of people over and we just hung out. B/f ( which he still is not but I refer to him that way due to lack of options) For those who are uninformed this is the guy that has been my best freind but we have always had feelings and a couple of months ago he told me that he has more that just feelilngs that he sees me as "the one". That is is in a nutshell and it sounds weird but I have always desired to be with him and he just finally admitted the same. anyways B/F has been distant and I know he has school but I am getting a bit worried aobut it. I am hoping that we will get a chance to do something tonight or tomorrow night but who knows. Oh well being confused by men is nothing new so Life goes on.

I managed to stay OP this wknd which is good. How did everyone else do?

Kim- I am proud of your decision to seek out counseling.

RIna- What a fun wknd. I am jealous

Tonya- Couldn't bring myself to journal today due to the fact that I just had a Reeses for breakfast. I think that is 8 pts YIKES. MOment of weakness I guess

Belle- Glad things are going so well. Congrats on the Christmas goal. 7 pds woohooo!!!!

Jeannine- Welcome we are glad to have you. Sounds like you are doing quite well with the weight loss. Keep it up!

Jen- AKA Recipe Queen Do you have any good recipes for Ground Turkey ??? I haven't checked the recipe thread yet but I was just curious.

OK I am breaking down and going to journal and even write my reeses down

OK I don't remember all of the rest of the posts but I will check in a gain later.

I wish everyone an OP

OK, girlies, WHY are there six people who answered the poll and only one reply to Becky's post? (Hi Stacey!) Come out, come out, wherever you are!

I had a pretty good weekend. Friday night BF and I went out for Indian food with friends, and then walked around the Christmas market downtown. They hold the market at night every Friday night until Christmas and it's fun ... music, carriage rides, craft booths. Friday there was a living Nativity set up with sheep and donkeys. Saturday we helped a friend move, then went to see Ocean's 11 at night. (Excellent flick. I highly recommend it). Sunday BF had to work, so I went shopping with a friend for Christmas and to find dresses for the Policeman's Ball that we're going to on Saturday. Whoo-hoo! I got a fun dress. It's short, with turquoise and navy glittery diamond designs on it. My friend Lindsey's dress is black and elegant (course, she's a size 8), but I'll look cute!

We didn't get a tree, though. We were going to on Saturday, but my BF had to do some work from home because his newspaper lost his story so we didn't get to. So we'll do it Friday.

Well, time for lunch. Everyone come out and post!

Hello all. Really busy at work...but it is my last week of working here then I am a stay at home person. I need to get my office all packed etc.

Hada great weekend. Go to the dr. today.

Kim: your dress sounds cute.

Becky: Men can be very confusing. I think most of the time when they are not talking it is stress...nothing more.

Hello Stacey

Default Need Some Assistance

Ok so I left my WW info at home and I could use some assistance.

First of all I did a bad thing with the Reese's Fast Break. IT is a new candy bar and I don't know the pts so if someone could help me that would be great!

Fiber 2
Calories 270
Fat 13

I am guessing 8 pts but that is just an estimate. BTW stay away from these they are magnificent. Just a warning.

MY other question is I thawed some ground turkey before work thinkng I could make something for dinner or either lunch tomorrow. does anyone have good recipes??????

Come out and play girls!

Kim- YOu had a fun wknd. I am glad that you got to spend some time with b/f. I also appreciate the Ocean's 11 tip I would like to see it.

Stacey Wknd of parties! Sounds Fun.

Trish Good luck at the dr's and thanks for the advice. I think you are right I am just being paranoid about the guy thing

Ok So thanks in advance for the point info and recipes. I am trying to get out of the office ASAP so if someone could help me out I would appreciate it. What would I do without you guys

Default Ground Turkey...

I use turkey in my spaghetti sauce!
I just wrote a lengthy post about the finer uses of ground turkey and hit a weird combo of keys and lost everything! I don't have an undo icon on my internet! Grrrrrrr
As I was saying, mix a packet of Lipton's Onion soup mix with your turkey and shape into patties. They make really tasty hamburgers...or eh, I mean turkey burgers!
Ok, lunch break is over. Waaaaahhhhh!

Tonya, Thanks for the soup Idea. You are right. A whole can of Healthy Choice is 4 pts.

I have too much time on my hands obviously. Did anyone get a chance to check their pt counter for the Reese's thing. Just curious and bored

I'm here!! I'm Here!! Came back to the boards on Friday and depending on how busy things get at my new job I will be on and off. I am on an evil plateau. It has been a month with lose .2, gain .4, stay the same AAAAARRRGH! But I just got over 3 weeks of being ill and I'm working on being very good with my points. I will make my Christmas goal of 199!!! I even got to ride yesterday for the first time in 3 weeks. the weather here has been horrible (as usual). But I have FANTASTIC NEWS!! My niece (who is 4 and a 1/2) got a new kidney yesterday!! She was diagnosed at 20 months and has been on dialysis for 8 or 9 months but only on the transplant list since October. She is doing well so far - I'm getting hourly updates - think happy thoughts for her if you have a second.
Grace - Ground turkey is the best - use it for anything you would use ground beef for - chili, spagetti sauce, burgers, Tacos - hope you think of something good.
Trish - when you become stay at home - what's your internet access like - we need to be informed about that baby
Kim - I loved Ocean's 11!! It was fun.
Stacey - Hope you've recovered from your fun weekend.

Hi to all the lurkers.
Later

Grace... Ground turkey can be substituted for any ground beef recipe. And it takes flavors nicely so you may taste more of the spices/herbs that you add!! I used to use it a lot, but then realized that not all ground turkey is good for you. Some is very high in added fat. Check the label before you buy.

I had an unexpected late meeting right before lunch, but still snuck out late for a workout at the gym. I was worried that I wouldn't be able too, and I am very determined right now to lose weight. I have been on such a standstill lately and it is quite depressing!

Oh well, just a little over an hour left of work! YAH!

This is too funny not to share. Someone forwarded it to me today.

Here 'tis:
