Default I'm dizzy.

I had 80 ounces of water today and lentils and a soy "chicken" patty with dinner (plenty of protein). It's not super hot, either. I don't know what could be making me light headed, but every time I stand up my vision tunnels out and then I get that rush of blood to my arms and hands and head.

I'm not hungry so I don't really want to eat anything. I had all my meals and snacks today.

Any suggestions?

You know, Nessa. I have low blood pressure to begin with so that might be the culprit. Perhaps this means the scale will have moved tomorrow?

Does your body adjust to your new weight or does your lightheadedness get worse the more weight you lose?

If it happens when you stand it up, it sounds like orthostatic hypotension. This is when there is a sudden DROP in blood pressue on standing.

Are you on any medications? There have been some medicines that do this to me. You can actually pass out with the above mentioned condition. Have it checked out by your doc. Food intake has nothing to do with it, if this is what it is.

Thanks, Stacy. I am not on any medication and haven't recently gone off any, either. Glad to know it's not the food, though, as I've been really enjoying my new meal plans!

P.S. Congrats on all those dragonflies!!!

I have the same problem. Sometimes when I am running I feel it more and I
stop right away. I have often wondered if maybe my body is trying to
send me some kind of signal that it no longer can/should lose weight? I also have been checking my bp regularly at home and it is totally normal @128/80
I have been kinda concerned about it so I think I will make a dr. appt. soon
just to check it out.
