Question Help with a recipe, please?

I want to make Stuffed Peppers for DH this weekend and it calls for 1/3 cup finely chopped parsley. Can I use dried parsley and if so, how much?

Thanks!

I thought it was 1/3 and looked it up and it is.

But if you can possibly get fresh, the flavor is so much better. Better yet is to start an herb garden (even if it's just in pots) Just picked herbs make food taste a zillion times better to me. I'm headed out to get some lemon basil out of my garden in just a sec. to make a caprese salad..yum!!!

What are the other ingredients? I like to make them with cilantro and jalapeno instead of Italian style seasoning.

I think the general rule is 1 tablespoon of fresh herbs equals 1 teaspoon of dried.

I just did the conversion and 1/3 cup is just over 5 tablespoons, so that would be about 5 1/3 teaspoons of dried parsley.

Hope that helps!
