I love the stuff and make it often. So nutty and healthy! I make all sorts of things with it, sometiems use it in veggie burgers, sometiems i make a stuffing out of it. You can get it at your regular grocery store sometimes or else in the bulk food bins at other stores.

http://www.wholegrainscouncil.org/recipesBulgur.htm is some information and recipes. Allrecipies.com , epicurious.com recipezaar.com all have many recipes. Just type in bulgur at the search box and away you go!

I use it in tabouli - bulgur, tomatoes, onion, fresh parsley, mint, lemon juice, olive oil.

My mom used to serve it to us as a cooked breakfast cereal, with milk and honey on it.

I'm assuming it's pretty healthy.

Bulgur is cracked wheat that has been pre-cooked (steamed) and then dried. To use it in a salad all you need to do is soak it overnight. You can speed the process up by pouring boiling water over it and letting it soak 30 mins. I like it in tabouli and pilaf.
