They aren't selling plus sizes in their stores anymore. I heard a rumor from a friend and noticed our selection going down at our local ON, so I called and spoke to the manager. She told me they weren't selling plus sizes anymore, except on-line and she didn't know why because they did very well with sales in that department.

I think I may cry. I love Old Navy. Buying clothes on-line is a pain, and you never get any deals...

I now have one store in my area that I can buy clothes and they are way overpriced...

I was bummed about the news, too! But then Melissa's response is just PERFECT! Hopefully I'll get "un-plused" before all I'm wearing is rags.........................lol!

I agree with the other posters, this should be more of a reason to loose the weight. Target also used to sell more plus size clothing, now the one in my area only has something like 3 racks of clothing, it was dissapointing to see, but I know one day soon, I will be wearing smaller clothing, and be able to buy clothes anywhere.

You are not that far away from a "normal" size! I am larger and bought an XXL at Old Navy and an XL top that runs large. Try some XXL you might be surprised!

Oh, I know it's incentive to lose. That was my first thought, I'm just sad that I'll have nothing to buy on the way down...

I'm also thinking of a friend of mine who got colon cancer and had to have part of her colon removed. She's overweight because she simply can't lose the weight. Where on earth can she shop? Or people who are way over weight... Where will they buy clothes on the way down? You can only pull up your sagging jeans so many times.

I think I had read this earlier in the year. It's just a shame.

I think they started phasing out the plus size section awhile ago. However, I think the "regular" sizes go up to 20 and xxl.

Totally ridiculous, if you ask me.. a really bad business move.

Actually, our Old Navy stores never carried the plus size line out here. I buy everything on-line and I do get loads of deals.

*They have $5 shipping no matter how large your order.
*If it doesn't fit, you can return it to the store (instead of mailing it back).
*They often have on-line sales. I just bought their scoop neck tees for $10 each.

All is not lost. But make sure you write the HQ and let them know you're upset!!
