I have made a few discoveries of low and no calorie foods that I love so much that I would eat them even if I were thin...

besides the obvious...like veggies...a new favorite of mine....

Almond Breeze sweetened only 40 calories..tons of Vit E, calcium and really yummy...

Laughing cow lite cheese wedges....I love these....esp french onion flavor...

walden farms caramel sauce...NO calories....I pour on baked apples...I add it to vanilla protein shake for a "Dulce de Leche" thing....

Galeo's miso dressing...I use it for cole slaw...it taste FATTENING...but it's not....

Smuckers sugar free and low sugar preserves....current favorite: orange marmalade for my Ezekiel raisin toast....

pumpkin spice cake...spice cake mix with pumpkin instead of oil and eggs....then add more spice, grated carrot and zucchini....not SUPER low cal...but better than CAKE!!

tofu shirataki noodles for asian dishes....

anybody else???? what are YOUR favorites???

Right now i am loving that it is summer and that i can keep wonderful fresh berries in the fridge to grab when i get "bored" hungry.

You touched on one of my fav's, Laughing cow.

Ice cold watermelon.

Also, i have to have something crunchy with a sandwich at lunch, chips are just so darn high in cals. I have found soy chips. They have a good amount of protien and pretty low in cals. BBQ flavor is my favorite.

Another Laughing Cow fan here. Ak-Mak Armenian flat bread - really crackers in the store near wasa and rye crisp. Yogurt cheese (made by draining the whey off of regular yogurt. Ellie Krieger's recipe for Citrus-ginger dressing and her White Chili.

Laura, try the soy chips. I used to get the mini rice cakes but the soy chips are MUCH better, i think. They are only 70 cals per serving and have about 7 grams of protien. I am not tempted by potato chips at all anymore.

OMG...I totally forgot about Quaker Minis Kettle Corn flavor...I am addicted to those...although I actually liked tha store brand better...

tell me what brand of soy chips you get and I will try them...I am a crunchaholic!

I have tried the white cheddar soy chips and the ranch flavored soy chips and I didn't like them. I use the fat free pringles (70 cal's per serving) and I like the BBQ and the Ranch flavored ones.

I do like my SF strawberry jelly and SF syrup on my wheat pancakes for breakfast.

I love Gala apples with a TBSP of peanut butter.

I love the Smuckers SF jams.....and I'm another lover of the Akmak crackers. They are GREAT!

I have discovered I just LOVE cauliflower dipped in a little bit of FF Ranch dressing. It's one of my favorite snacks.

And my favorite drink --especially in the summer--is sun tea with no sweetener :-)

Watermelon, run through a blender and then add a bit of soda water. Amazing.I agree 100%. I used the black cherry flavored soda water they sel at WalMart & it was awesome.

These are not 'discoveries' per se, but they are what I use:
Frozen peach slices
Frozen cherries
yoplait red label yogurt
thomas light english muffins, multigrain
smart balance peanut butter

I USED to be a big chip eater - especially with sandwiches. I mean, it just wasn't right to have a sandwich without chips. I, too, had to have that crunch. I have now discovered that baby carrots fill this need really well for me, and I do not have to have chips of any kind! I was sure glad to get rid of that perceived need, as it was a big stronghold for me. :)

I also love laughing cow cheese! I use it for dip, especially for my carrots! They are great together.

I also really love frozen blueberries in my cold cereal. I don't need sweeteners on my cereal with them, and they are a Superfood to boot! ;)

Oatmeal is a real hunger killer in my books. One cup takes me a pretty long while and the calories/fat for one cup that carries me that far isn't bad at all.

Thanks for posting these! I love reading other ideas!

This might sound weird but I thaw cool whip so it's just to the point when I can spoon it out and either it by the spoon or on rice cakes. It really fixes my ice cream cravings (espically chocolate cool whip).

Since I'm really really allergic to all artificial sweetners, and sugar is a big reason why I've gained weight I have to be creative to have something seemingly sweet. I love love frozen strawberries blended with FF plain yogurt and skim milk, tastes so so yummy!!

Sugar free Jello--1 or, sometimes, 2, depending on if the first one fills me up. Just 10 cals. each, and the flavor is quite intense.

Also Crystal Lite with LOTS of ice. Usually 2 - 3 glasses per day, and I have it at work with me, all day long.

I love the crystal lite grapefruit flavor...I make slushies with it!

I like the Crstal Light On The Go (remember the Shake Your Bottle commercials?). I drink the Raspberry Ice. It's nice because I carry a Propel bottle around with me all the time (filled the regular water). Once I finish the bottle of regular water, I re-fill it and put in the Crystal Light.

I loooove the Special K Bars. 90 calories and it has a chocolate (or strawberry if you prefer) drizzle on top. Yummy!

Quaker has these new Quaker Granola Bites. Another great way to get your chocolate fix for only 90 calories.
