Default snail fat

I'm calling this post snail fat because my fat is comming off SOOOOOOOOO SLOW!

This is sort of okay because it is comming off but I've never experienced such slow weight loss before when I was really truly working as hard as I have been.

I am eating 1200 calories a day and I am working out with "Maximum calories burn" dvd from the firm about 5 days a week. The other two days of the week, I do pilates or yoga.

If anyone has experience or advice they would like to share with me, I would greatly appreciate it. Is it because I don't have a whole lot to loose? Should I eat more calories?

Thanks!

That's what I was going to say! The lower you are going (and the closer you are to your goal) the slower it comes off (usually.) Other things can be a factor too (age & stress among other things.) As long as it's still coming off I wouldn't worry about it. Slow and steady wins the race (like a snail... Lol. Couldn't help myself .)

Speaking of snails, from the thread title I honestly thought that you were asking what kind of fat is in escargot.

I knew exactly what you were talking about. I too, am losing at a snails pace . I agree with the others though, that the lower you go, the slower you go.

Just keep plugging away. That's all we can do. The weight has to come off some time, right?

Ha ha,

Thanks for the support ladies! I guess somehow we'll make it through. I suppose that since these are lifestyle changes that we're making here, we should plan on doing these things for life so might as well just keep plugging away!
I'm glad my title got some of you to check out my post (hehe)

I'm with you on this one. I was losing fine, but I got derailed the last couple of weeks and actually gained 2.2 lbs. I'm really discouraged, but I hope that I don't get so discouraged that I go back to my old eating habits. That really won't help, will it? Hang in there!
