Hey, everyone. I just signed up for this site today, thought I would introduce myself. I have been battling my weight for as long as I can remember. I have tried and failed more times than I care to remember. I'm not sure when I reached my "breaking point", but I did...and here I am.
I started at 340 lbs in Feb. April 1st, I was down 25 pounds. My mom went into the hospital for a month the day after Easter...she was in ICU for 2 weeks. I started eating fast food way, way, WAY too often. It was close, easy, and I was pretty much living at the hospital. McDonalds was cheaper than the hospital food, and when you are on a budget, you go for what's cheaper. After a month, it brought me back up to 335 again. My mom has been out of the hospital for a little over a month now, and I'm down to 316.5. It feels very good, to say the least. Though to some it might seem like a small accomplishment, it certainly feels like a miracle to me. Every time I see the numbers on the scale go down, even a little, it helps motivate me and keep me in the right direction.
I look forward to having some back up this time around, and am confident that it will keep me going through this! Every time I have tried dieting, that is the one thing I have lacked: support. Now I have it, and I am ready to fight for this!
