Default Wheat Germ?

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of what I could do with wheat germ. I had to use it to make food for my pets and now I am stuck with 3/4 of a container with no use for it.

Use it to make energy bars (I just posted a recipe for this in a thread today).

Make muffins and use it in place of some of the flour.

Mix it into cold or hot cereal.

Sprinkle it on salads.

Put it in smoothies.

~Replace 1T of white flour (per cup) in recipes to up the nutrition of baked goods. This is a good substitute when you are out of ww flour, although I'll throw some in even when I use ww flour.

~Use 1-2T in a smoothy and blend in with everything else.

~Mix with bread crumbs for on top of casseroles.

~Mix in with any dry cereal (I throw some in when I make homemade granola.)

~It is good on yogurt, but if you do that don't put it on until right before you eat it! Soggy wheat germ is not so tasty.

You can use it anywhere you use bread crumbs. I put it in my meatloaf and meatballs. So much healthier than bread crumbs!
