Things seem to be going better between me and BF. He wants to go to my work's xmas party with me, so that's a start. Basically in many ways our problem happened at a good time, I am so busy with school and work it is forcing us to take a mini-break from each other. Asides from that I am getting stressed with school and work... 9 days until I am scholastically free, well at least for a few weeks. B

Wow, it seems that problems with Sig others spread like wildfire last weekend. That's very strange.

Mandie: Welcome!!!

Lori, Belle, Jen, JenK, Lolly, Kirsty, Stacey, trish, Sarah, Lisa, Kim, Emily and everyone else Howdy!

Take Care!

Ali

WI is tonight and I'm pmsing. So, if I gain, I won't be too upset.
We're going to try to get some shopping done tonight afterwards.
I skipped WI last week because of the weather so we'll see how it goes this week. I don't feel too bloated which I guess is a good thing. I haven't been horrible, but I haven't journaled the past few days. Bad ME!!
Hi Ali...glad to hear things are going better.
Welp, boss decides to leave during the times I'm busy. Not when I'm bored, so I guess I'd better get back to work.

Last night was a good OP night!! I'm so excited. I WI on Friday, and I'm really hoping the weekend didn't do me in.

Tonight I plan on doing Tae-Bo basic -- I LOVE Tae-Bo! I told my husband and my Mom that I wanted the NEW Tae-Bo II for Christmas, here's keeping my fingers crossed someone gets it for me.
I'm a read-aholic (only in the fall/winter) and have read 4 books in the past 2 months! The book I'm reading now is The Testament by John Grisham, and it is really a great book. I try to do things to keep my mind and hands from wanting to snack. I've also been scrapbooking our wedding pictures, and absolutely LOVE it. It really takes a lot of time and that is GOOD so I won't eat!!

Oooh, on another note I started eating breakfast today! I had some oatmeal, and I think that it will help me...I'm NOT starving, and it's lunch. Normally I'm counting the minutes to lunch...so YIPPIE! Thanks for the advice!!

Thanks for the welcome Ali, and HELLO to all! Hope I get to know all of you better!!!

Seems like there are two going today. Wasn't sure which one was the daily one, so I picked the one that had "Tuesday" in it.

How is everyone? I'm trying to come up with a Christmas list for my mom. I really need clothes, and I don't know about the rest of you, but I hate picking out things when I've overweight. Nothing looks good. So I end up wearing the same old tired stuff, hoping I'll lose. But now I'm trying to pick out a casual, winter coat. Probably something from L.L. Bean or Lands End. I'd like a down jacket, for the chilly month, even though I'm sure I'll just look like the Pillsbury Doughboy. :(

Day two of REALLY procrastinating at work. I don't feel like doing anything. Yesterday I finally dragged myself out of the office about 4 to do some interviews. That's why I like spot news. It makes me work NOW. I'm better with the short term stuff than long term. I have a few bigger stories I'm working on but nothing that excites me terribly. One story is about a woman with multiple personalities, but I swear, she's driving me crazy (pun intended). She calls me every single day (even on Thanksgiving there was a message) to "tell me just one more thing." Maybe it's all her personalities calling at separate times? I know, I shouldn't joke. She really has been diagnosed with the disorder. She supposedly has about 19 different personalities. It's really quite fascinating.

Anyway, now that I've bored everyone talking about work, I think I'll go find some. Gotta go call a lawyer to find out what the laws concerning strip clubs are.

Fun, fun!

Have a good day, everyone! Ali, glad things are going better. How's the work Christmas party usually? I'm only going to mine for an hour, then I'm bailing out to go to the Policeman/Fireman's Ball. (Ooh, la, la! I am taking BF, but my two GFs are going solo to meet cute guys!)

Hi gals!

How is everyone today? I just finished reading yesterdays posts and at first I felt sad with everyone having SO probs but by the end you guys cracked me up with the penis pasta talk :) Hope everything is better for everyone today :) I am doing good! I have been OP for over a week now and I did my WI on Sunday and I lost 4! That is sooo awesome! I love progress. So far this week has been good and I actually made a meal plan and did a whole bunch of prep and precooking on Sunday so it should be an easy one. Of course its monthly time this week so there could be some emotional eating challenges. Saturday night we're having a christmas party so I'm trying to bank points all week so I can drink and eat some of the goodies I always make. Its scary that I could wreck my good behaviour all week with one night :o: Oh well.

Welcome Mandie! Its great that you jumped right in! Glad to hear you and your husband are doing good after a separation.

Trish, I can't believe that you are so close! That's crappy about your DH. Men don't get it when it comes to house stuff. I wish I lived close enough to come help you out.

Ali, how are you doing now? I hope that everything is better and you're back on track. With your busy life make sure you take some time for yourself-that's so important!

Stacey, good luck with WI. PMS week sucks!

Jen3 how are you doing? I think Trish's idea of starting your 24 hours in the evening might help. I would have never thought of that. At least you've got comtrol of exercising-that's my huge challenge.

Em, how is everything with DH today? I hope that it all works out to whatever is best for you and your kids. Must be tough.

Kim, that's crazy that your BF only gets one day off :( I would be upset too. Awhile back you mentioned he might switch to a paper in a different town-whatever happened there? hope you're doing great today :)

Tonya-that picture is so great! Your family is beautiful! Thanks for sharing it!

Kier, are you home for Christmas or for good? Glad to hear things are better with your BF.

JenK glad to hear your party went good! THose parties are so much fun! Was it co-ed or just women? We've been to both and I must say the one with just women was way more fun! I bought that penis pasta for my Mom's BD last year-too funny!

Hi to everyone else! Hope that everyone is having a great OP day! Take care :)

Hello to all. Just a quick hello so that I can get to lunch. I am starved today.

Welcome to Mandie! Glad you are here.

Must day that hubby has been such a helper since the big fight this weekend on this topic. YAH! He is really helping me get things done. I am in big time nesting mode...and must clean the house etc! But there are things that I can not do (lifting, climbing up on things, getting on the floor and then getting back up again) that I need his help for. I think my nesting mode makes me want it done NOW and I am frustrated that I can not just do it...but he does not sence the urgancy. Oh well, it is getting done and he is being so much more helpful.

Ok, hello to eveyone else. I will be back this afternoon. I must go eat now.

Oh, Tonya, I ment to say that your photo is wonderful! Your family takes the best pictures!

Kier: We don't have a name yet. one more thing to stress about!

Hey Mandie, how do you make your turkey salad? Just curious. It sounds yummy! Mmm, tuna salad sounds good, too!
This afternoon is just creeping by!!
Ok, I'd better get back to work!

Stacey T: Well, my husband got a turkey at work for Thanksgiving, and I don't really like turkey just to eat turkey. So we cooked it like you do a normal turkey. When it was done we cut all the meat off (froze LOTS of it). I had about 4 cups of turkey that I wanted to make with the turkey salad. I put in probably close to a cup of fat free miracle whip, 2 celery pieces, 1 small onion, dill relish -- since I was out of sweet, some dill pickle juice, and about a teaspoon of sugar since I had no sweet pickle juice or relish. I mushed the turkey up the best I could with a fork and just stirred it all together. Nothing fancy or special :) Hope that helped you some!!

Again, thanks everyone for your warm welcomes!!! I'm sooo glad I found you guys :)

And Rina -- thanks. Jeremy (my husband) and I are doing wonderful. We had a little disagreement last night (first time since we've been back together), but I think it was just me pms'ing and I had a bad headache. It was over something STUPID...but we are doing awesome. Thank you :)
