I bow to Allison because I copied her thread starter ...
Here's how you play. I ask a question. The next person answers and then posts their own question.

I'll start:

What would it mean to you, to find that all scientific evidence suggests that you can lose 20% of your body weight?

btw ... I made that up ... it's just a question

What would it mean to you, to find that all scientific evidence suggests that you can lose 20% of your body weight?

btw ... I made that up ... it's just a question

06-06-2007, 06:12 PM

If you could choose one item to be calorie free, what would it be?

06-06-2007, 06:16 PM
Any unhealthy food than comes in an orange-colored container--I can think of three right off the bat!

Is there any one moment in your life you wish you could revisit and change?

06-06-2007, 06:22 PM
Orange colored container? Help me out... I can't think of anything in an orange colored container.

When I was 16 and trying to lose weight, I wish I could go back there and try to change instead of waiting until 13 years later to make actual progress.

What is your favorite wild animal?

06-06-2007, 06:36 PM

Is there any one thing about you that other people find weird? (Like, I like the scent of skunks! :o )

06-06-2007, 06:49 PM

My Gramma gramma EVER on all levels

If you could be any animal, what would you be?

A house cat...lay around in sunbeams all day, be served dinner everyday and have your poo magically removed from the litter box. Only payment is to let your human pick you up and pet you from time to time.

The thought of eating lunch with either is giving me a headache.

Johnny Depp or Orlando Bloom?

06-07-2007, 09:06 PM
Oprah. Trump thinks it's O.K. to openly discriminate against fat people and apparently feels it is the biggest insult he can give to call somebody 'fat'. I would think a billionaire would have more class.

Stranded on an island would you rather be the only one of the opposite sex OR have it co-ed?

06-08-2007, 08:10 PM

She gets a lot done, runs/walks the dogs at least 3.5 miles by 8:00 on Saturday...I read the paper/computer! Sunday we usually go to 8:00 church service.

Would you give up your job just so you could have the summer off with your kids or be inconvenienced all summer so you could have the job the rest of the year?

06-15-2007, 09:53 AM
I don't have kids, but if I did, I believe I would do whatever possible within our financial means to stay home with them until kindergarden. I teach high school and cannot tell you how many times students have told me that their parents are workaholics, they never eat together as a family, they rarely see their parents. Although kids are resilient and adaptable, not having parents around seems to have a huge affect on them. Now, I'm 39 and my husband and I have 3 cats, so please take my comments with a grain of salt.

If you had the means, would you send your children to private school?

06-15-2007, 09:53 AM
:dizzy: Arghhh... I meant Effect not Affect

06-15-2007, 10:02 AM
no way would I send them to private school - the town I live in has really good schools - I wanna get what my tax dollars are paying for! I also think its better to have them in the same school as all the other kids on the block.

Would you rather have an extreme makeover for you or your house?

06-15-2007, 03:31 PM

I don't skate....

Angie and I do our own home make-overs...I could use one for myself! ;)

I wear t-shirts and levis to work

Angie says she would like a house cleaning service since she does her own training and we both cook...HOWEVER...if it was the TAKE HOME CHEF she says she would choose him EVERY DAY!!

MY wife teaches middle son and daughter in law teach high school....we sent our children to our Christian school from pre thru 8th grade. It was costly...I would not change it one bit. All 3 had great high school years in public high school...2 had awesome college still in.

What kind of car do you drive?

Night: Check out Classic Yes or Yessongs. Famous songs would be Long Distance Runaround and Roundabout and they had a comeback in the 80's with Leave It and Owner of a Lonely Heart. Not as good as the 70's stuff, but it was nice to have a 70's injection in the 80's music. I love every song and listen to them when I go for walks with the dog.

If you could get smaller without losing any weight, would that be good enough?

06-27-2007, 01:48 AM
Yes, as in my smaller jeans and shorts fit and i felt smaller with flatter tummy less flab, then i would care less what the scale said. That would be pretty darn nifty!

Have you ever been semi-coerced into going to a buffet (we went to Golden Corral tonight) and later felt absolutely miserable about what you ate and also a little disgusted by how much all the people around you ate? I feel downright puffy and miserable. All this topping off what was a great day -- good eating and an excellend 25 mile bike ride. I was at the beach visiting friends. Anyway, it was all good till I allowed the buffett to do me in... ugh.

Anyone else do that?

Sure, I do that. I often eat so that people will not worry about me. Because they do worry if you're losing weight.

If you could insert yourself into a movie plot as whatever character you chose, who would it be - and why!

06-27-2007, 04:16 PM
Well, thats easy. I'd be a super-hot Jedi Knight in Empire Strikes back. It would mean that the story line would change but who cares? In the books after the movies, you find out that there ARE some Jedi still out there and once the Empire is overthrown they sort of come out of the woodwork. It would have been cool if I had gotten to kill Boba Fett instead of him falling into the Sarlacc Pit like an idiot :) So maybe I'd be at the beginning of Return of the Jedi instead of in Empire. Either way. Maybe I'd become a recurring character introduced in Empire and I get to kill Boba in Return.... I could go on and on!

Making the bed. Unless I'm having company who might take a house 'tour' and see the bedroom, I could care less. However, hubby likes to have it made so his sheets are tucked in every night. I personally like the sheets lose so I can stick my feet out. So, DH makes it most days; I do it now and then.
