Here is my message from #94.
------------------------------------------
Hi all!
I am down for the count today. UGH! Fever and all the "perks" that come with a stomach virus. I had 2 points in 26 hrs. I just kept down some dry toast. Brittany stayed home with me and was a tremendous help. She got the boys all ready for school and made arrangements with our neighbor to take them to school. Bruce had a 7:00 meeting that he tried to get out of but was too late.

Es,
I am so glad Suzie is doing better! She sounds precious.

JanieD.,
I hope it all works out for you.

TTYL,
Terri

Terri, sorry to hear you're under the weather. That's so great about Brittany stepping up and helping out. :)
I missed Brian's Song! How was it? We had the kids here for dinner, and I totally forgot about it.

Feel better soon!

Terri, sorry to hear that you are under the weather! I know it can't be much phone. Glad that your daughter was a big help to you.

I'm printing thread #45 so that I can catch up on everything. You know how it is after fourty the memory starts to go. :)

Well, I had a great weigh in, I lost 2 lbs. I've lost a total of 5.4 lbs, I have 48 lbs to go to reach my goal weight.

Hope everybody is having a good week. Take care.

RUTH,
Congratulations! Great loss!

Thanks Myra, Jen and Ruth. I am a little better today. I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I ate 2 pieces of toast and a few organic cinnamon things and a ff pudding cup. That I shouldn't have eaten. Never mind.

Sunday night was the night I got sick so I vegged in the lazyboy downstairs with Britts and watched the new Brians Song
and then we watched the old Brians Song . The new one made the old one look like a comedy. We started crying in the middle. In the old one you only cried at the end. I taped it for when I am in the mood for a tear jerker.

Myra, Jen and Terri, thank you for your encouragement. It really means alot to have a great support system. My family has been great, but the additional support from the message boards and the chat rooms really help me make it through the day when the family isn't around.

Terri, glad you are feeling better. I missed Brian's Song, the hubby doesn't get to watch a lot of tv since he is on night shifts, so I let him pick what is watched at night. Guess I should have taped it while he was watching something else, I wasn't thinking.

Myra, good luck Wednesday, I'm sure you will do great.

Do any of you have goals for Christmas? Mine is to be under 170 and I'm at 173 now, so that should be obtainable.

Well, I've got to go to school. Take care.

Thanks Myra!! Good luck to you tomorrow. Remember it is muscle. You are leaner.

Ruth,
Good luck and I am sure you will get to your Holiday goal. You are doing great! I have so many tapes it isn't funny. I tape everything, even if I am watching it cause I am afraid I will get interrupted with something!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIANNE!!!! HUMONGOUS HUG!!!!!! Not sure if I spelled it right.

Terri, are you feeling better? I hope so. So thoughtful of Brittany to take care of Mom. I always tape my shows too. In case the phone rings or Pete wants to talk. Especially when it comes to my soaps!

Ruth, high five!!!! 2 lbs. is great. I'll take 2 lbs. anyday:lol: We weigh about the same. I think I'm 175 right now. I'll go for 5 lbs. from now till Xmas. I'll weigh in tomorrow morning. I've been afraid to get on the scale:eek:

Thanks for all your good wishes and songs, my buddies. Terri and Es, you guys are too funny - you both sent me the same hallmark e-card!!!!!!!! You must have the same taste.

I had a GREAT day, I had a feeling it was gonna be good! This morning I had a meeting to go to so I ran quickly to the bathroom and someone stuck their head in and said "Dianne your husband's on the phone", so I quickly left the bathroom and when I came into the office, my co-workers were standing their with a birthday cake, candles and all singing happy birthday to me. It was so cool! It was a carrot cake, which I have never tasted before and it was sooooooooo good. Then after I came back from the meeting, there was a gift (sweater) from one of my co-workers and a big beautiful bouquet of flowers and a birthday balloon. I thought it was from willie, but it was from my step-son, his wife and kids. These are the grandkids that call me "Papa Dianne". I was soooooooo surprised.

Unfortunately, Willie had to work so we didn't go out to dinner, but he said we'll do something this weekend so that's cool. But he bought me a new discman (Alana always takes mine) and cd's by Barbra Streisand (Christmas), Reba McEntire, Marc Anthony and Shakira. He also got me those batteries that come with a charger so you don't have to keep buying new batteries. And he got me a calendar with my year of birth (not telling you what year:lol: ) and things that happened during that year. Everyone of my children, grandchildren and sisters, friends etc. called me, so I've been on the phone all night.

So, all in all, I had a really great day and I thank you all for your wonderful wishes.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Hugs,
Dianne

Happy Birthday Diane, btw, my daughter shares your birthday. She turned 24. Sounds like you had a wonderful day!! I'm impressed with musical variety, you have good taste in music. I love listening to music, all kinds.

Es, how tall or you? I'm 5'1, I think my goal is 125 lbs. The limit for my height is 127, so I may have to go a few lbs under that so that I can maintain lifetime (when I get there). Always plans to think ahead!! :D Good luck with your weigh-in!!

Well I'm headed for bed. I have 5 essays to turn into English tomorrow. I wrote two, retyped two and still have one to write. I'll get it done tomorrow morning before class. I hate when I put things off.

Finals are next week. I'll be in and out between now and then, I probably won't be able to stay long, there is plenty studying to do!!

Later,
Ruth
