Default Baked apple

As my snack today, I realized I had some cinnamon, and theres an apple in the fridge. So instead of going to the grocery store, where I know I wont come back with anything nearly as healthy as an apple, Im just not going to go. Im totally clueless on what seems to be the easiest thing in the world. I cant cook, I dont even try, it all comes out horrible. Do I just put the apple in the oven? Can someone please tell me how to do this? Thanks!!!!

I mix 3 teaspoons of Splenda and 1/2 tsp of cinnamon. Core the apple but don't go all the way through the bottom. Spoon the Splenda mixture into the apple. Place the apple in a small baking dish and pour about 1/4 cup of water around the apple. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes - until a knife goes through the apple easily. Remove it from the oven and let it sit for 5-10 minutes before eating. When I slice it open, I spray a few shots of butter spray on it. Sooooo yummy!
