Oven-Baked Onion Rings

Ingredients:

¼ cup tbsp all-purpose flour
½ tsp Morton Lite Salt®
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 large onion
3 egg whites, beaten
¾ cup plain bread crumbs

Preparation:

Combine flour, salt and cayenne pepper. Peel onion and cut into rings.
Lightly dredge the rings in the flour mixture.
Dip the rings into the egg whites and then coat with bread crumbs.
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake about 10 minutes. Turn the rings over and bake 5-10 more minutes.

Makes: 6 servings
