Weight Loss Surgery - I don't think Kashi and I are going to agree...

And I LOVE Kashi! For awhile after I had my band put in, I had no trouble with it once I hit solid stage. Well, I ate 1/2 c of it soaked in milk yesterday and the same thing today for breakfast, and wouldn't you know not a half hour later, I had terrible abdominal pain both times. I had to do some walking around and the heating pad (and a little green tea) before it finally went away.

Much as I dislike the idea, I suppose I have to scratch Kashi off the list of cereals....

Ahh the joys of discovery. Sorry you were in so much pain....maybe 1/4 cup would be better to start out until your system gets used to the fiber, or just a bite or two.

Yes, I find that I have to just enjoy about 3-4 spoons of cereal and that's all. I only have it about twice a month. I'm also lactose intolerance sometimes and the milk will make my stomach hurt too.
