Default Weight loss Goals for Special Holiday Occasions

With the holidays coming up, I know that there will be many occasions, gatherings, services, parties, weddings, dinners, etc. that we will all be going to. I find that having a short term goal makes the long journey of weight loss seem to go by a lot faster. I'm attending my fiance's work Christmas party, Christmas church service, and a wedding - MINE! I've lost 30 pounds so far and I'm shooting for 10 more by my wedding, which is January 13! It's moving by quickly and I'd love to have some buddies with goals for special Holiday Occasions!!

my only goals are to eat in moderation. I have two showers to go to in the next few weeks and then a wedding that will have a ton of delicious and inviting foods! I'm not going to say I won't eat over my calorie limit but I am hoping that they will serve live squid!! (so that I won't want any!) Seriously now... I'm going to try to eat healthy things and stay away from the sugar. Then I shouldn't ruin my progress so far.

Grace,
Take one day at a time. Enjoy the party and enjoy the people you are with. I find with a drink in hand and my mouth flapping from talking, it can be a great way to avoid the food. Eat before you go so that you can control what you eat, and have a little guilty pleasure while you are there. If you are not starved before you will not feel the need to eat the whole spread...lol.

most of all have fun and enjoy yourself!

congrats on the weight loss, you are doing so well, feel good about reaching your wedding gaol!
